We had a great stay at the Cactus Hotel in Larnaca. The hotel was clean and the rooms seemed to be recently renovated. The location is excellent, with everything you need nearby. For a short stay of a few days, the combination of location and price is really hard to beat.
The staff was always friendly and helpful, which made the stay even more pleasant. The breakfast was unfortunately not the best, but it was still okay and sufficient to start the day.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a good budget-friendly option in Larnaca.

The hotel is relatively new, and the rooms are quite nice. It's located outside the city, but there's a bus stop nearby with direct airport bus lines 425 and 427. The bus ticket costs 2.4 euros, regardless of the distance. However, dining options and supermarkets nearby are quite far away.
I found it inconvenient that the hotel doesn't provide tissues or drinking water. The breakfast selection is limited; you can fill up, but it's not particularly good. What's more, the breakfast on the second day had significantly fewer options than on the first, which was quite surprising.
The best part is the retractable drying rack on the balcony, which is very practical.

We spent almost a week at the Cactus Hotel and the experience was amazing! The rooms are brilliant, not that big, but enough! Good bathroom, toilet, balcony! The breakfast also is not the best one, every day the same, but all fresh. I missed fruits. There is a coffee machine, so you can have as much coffee as you wish. Very well located, it’s a walking distance to the sea, close to the mackenzie beach and city center. You can do everything on foot. good restaurants and small markets nearby. The lidl is very far. pool area, bar, excellent! The staff speaks English and they are very kind and helpful! Highly recommended!

Excellent hotel, looks great! It feels like it's been recently renovated, I really enjoyed it! The only downside is that there's no fridge, and no tea, coffee, or kettle. That's a minus, but overall the rooms are fantastic.

Very good location for sightseeing and walking on the beach. Hotel was clean, and my bedding smelled clean, the breakfast buffet was modest, but hearty. The staff was friendly. The ceiling downstairs in lobby and breakfast area is a little bit low for tall people. My room had a smell of sewer odor from the bathroom, so I kept the door closed. The key for the room took a little bit jiggling to get it to turn the power on, and the WiFi was not the always reliable. I enjoyed my stay and would do so again.

I agree with other reviewers regarding the behavior of the front desk receptionist — the lady with black hair. Her problem-solving skills are underwhelming and can easily drive customers away. She was rude and impolite, and in my opinion, should not be working in a customer-facing role.
I’ve stayed at two other facilities in Larnaca, both of which had significantly better reception staff. This hotel could benefit greatly from improving its front desk service.

I really liked the hotel. It's 5 minutes away from a clean beach. The hotel is comfortable and has everything you need. The pancakes for breakfast were delicious. The staff was friendly, and special thanks to Evdokios for the pleasant atmosphere. We will definitely come back here.
