The hotel has an excellent location, very close to attractions, restaurants, and shops, making it very convenient to explore the area on foot. It also offers a spacious and comfortable layout, which makes the stay pleasant. The bed and bathroom were clean, which is always appreciated.

However, some elements of the room need attention. The sofa cushions, bedspread, and carpets appear worn, with stains and visible signs of use, which affects the overall impression of the room. We also noticed that the room temperature in March felt quite warm.

As a suggestion, replacing or thoroughly cleaning the room textiles (cushions, bedspread, and carpets) and improving temperature control would greatly enhance the guest experience, especially considering the hotel’s great potential due to its location and spaciousness.

Awesome location right in the middle of Old Town and the room was very spacious with a medieval feel. Checkout time was a little early (10am) but was able to extend it 2 hours so that part of the service was good. There is no check-in desk as it is all done remotely with a key code and all contact was made thru WhatsApp to get questions answered. If I had one suggestion where service could be improved, it would be to refill the coffee pods and water bottles everyday day. We received only 4 coffee pods and 1 water bottles for the 4 days/3 nights we were there so the 4 of us that all drink coffee and water had none after the 1st day. Other than this…the experience was excellent and I would recommend the Aurus.

We really enjoyed our 5 night stay here. Don’t be bothered by the absence of onsite reception, as check-in is a breeze with your provided code. In addition, it stated that there wouldn’t be housekeeping but our room was tidied daily with fresh towels and linens straightened. Our only issue we encountered is our room’s shower does not drain well and will flood the bathroom if you turn the water on fully. The staff was attentive to send technicians to work on it, and they were very kind and respectful of space. I would recommend they go and check it again as I don’t think the issue will be fixed without running the shower as if it is being used for a standard cycle.
Overall, we would absolutely stay here again and recommend to others on their journey to Prague! Thank you very much!

We got the suite, it was really spacious and comfortable for four people.
Beds and pillows were good! Clean room too!
Had trouble with air conditioner, it doesn’t cool as it should.
And I didn’t liked that the main reception is 2 min away walking, although is a short distance, walking with bags through the pebble streets packed with tourists is quite difficult.
Besides that we had a nice stay!

This place is a gem. Just two minutes from old town square and Charles Bridge. It was super clean and we had a daily change of towels and cleaning service. If ever been to Prague again we will definitely stay to this appartments. I highly recommend this!

Beautiful place to stay, situated in the heart of Prague old town, just round the corner from Charles Bridge and a few minutes from the old town square, ideally located for bars, restaurants, attractions and transport links, despite being in a location where so much is accessible the Aurus is in a nice quiet spot and there is little noise during the night or early mornings. Please note the Aurus is a residence, not a hotel !!! there is no reception or dining room at the Aurus, but with plenty of cafés and bars right outside the door, food is not a problem. There is no reception (hence the 3 star service rating) but anything you need just send them an email and they'll deal with it straight away (I emailed at 11:30pm to say the lift wasn't working, thinking it would be fixed in the morning but they had an engineer out and it was repaired, quietly, within 20 mins), check-in and check-out is done at another location a few minutes walk, a couple of steets away, where key cards are given for secure access to the Aurus building and your room. Rooms are extremely clean, beautifully decorated and well equipped, and I would certainly go back and stay in this residence again on a future trip to Prague.

Been back to the Aurus for a second visit, and access to the building and rooms is now done through a security keypad on the doors, the operators will issue you with a unique code which simply needs entered into the keypad and the building or room door is unlocked, so no longer any need to go to the other building to check in or check out, just arrive on the arranged day, and close the door behind you when you leave at the end of your stay.
So even more reason to recommend this place for a visit to Prague.

Would also recommend using Prague Transfers to get from the airport to the hotel and back, very professional private driver service, who will be at the airport when you arrive, and will be there at your hotel when you've asked to be picked up to take you back.

The room we had at the Aurus Hotel was roomy, attractive and comfortable. The shower had great pressure and the air conditioner worked in very hot weather. The view from the upper window was beautiful and the famous Charles Bridge is a hop, skip and a jump. There was noise from the street, but I find that comforting. You may wish to book a different hotel if noise bothers you. The only other downside was that reception was not easy to find. If you plan to stay, definitely have your taxi driver drop you off at reception (JILSKA 9, Prague 1, 11000) or you might find yourself standing outside a locked hotel door with a pin pad, loaded up with baggage. The hotel is a few lefts and rights from reception, and GPS will get you there, though we found GPS to be spotty in Prague.
