Where to stay in Karlovy Vary

Unfortunately, the hotel did not fully meet our expectations. While the rooms were nice and spacious, they appeared somewhat worn and had a few stains. The spa area also only partially impressed us: the pool was rather cold, and not all the saunas were working. However, the extremely friendly and helpful staff deserves special mention.

Fantastic hotel with very friendly staff. The facilities are first class and the Golf course is among the best in Czech Republic. The hotel is set in the most spectacular scenic location and the atmosphere is friendly. A special mention to Jana for all her help during our visit. Look forward to returning in September.

Great, we go to Cihelen repeatedly. The golf course is beautiful, the hotel rooms are modern with perfect beds, a friendly atmosphere, and pleasant staff. Ideal for relaxation with golf activities combined with wellness. We recommend it to everyone.

Good location, big and clean room. Breakfast is very good as well

The three of us had a suite, with lots of space, especially in the bathroom, if you want to get ready quickly in the morning. The sauna and swimming pool were a positive surprise. I missed real wholemeal bread at breakfast. All in all, very good value for money.

Next to the hot spring area, you can take bus No. 2 from the bus terminal (the name of the bus terminal is handwritten in the picture) and it takes about ten minutes to arrive at the stop sign in front of the hotel. There is the famous Golden Elephant Coffee opposite the hotel. If you have time, you can go and experience the century-old coffee. There are not many foreigners in this hot spring area

Nice Personnel, very good breakfast, good location. Old fashioned hotel. If you’re travelling by car, it’s important to make in advance a reservation for a parking spot (they have some parking spots along the road); no public parks available in the area (next are ca. 1 km away. Not good if you’re on motorcycle.

The hotel location was clean and good, but the elevator was not working properly. They said there was a parking lot, but it was difficult because there was construction going on.

Able to check in early. Convenient and ample parking. Short drive to Karlovy Vary. The only drawback is that my room was on the ground floor and along the path to the hotel lobby, so it’s noisy when guests chats while walking or dragging luggage. And the lack of privacy means curtains were always drawn.

Great! We were so lucky with this hotel. We only booked for three days, but we'll be staying for the full 20. They gave us two spacious rooms. It's clean, cozy, and the kitchen is perfect. We'll recommend everyone stay here again.

The stuff is absolutely not interested in making stay comfortable. Checkin and checkout process are ruining all experience. plus, one of the 2 elevators doesn’t work properly making it very irritating to use. However, the location is great and overall property condition is good, a bit old but definitely good maintained.

A really nice place even for a short time. Breakfast is hearty, drinks in the bar at a good price. And the best is the connection between the different buildings and the city centre.

I had an amazing stay at this hotel during a bike trip. The owner was super friendly and allowed me to store and charge my e-bike in a little spare room. The deluxe twin room was absolutely amazing!

The hotel is spotlessly clean, and we had a very spacious family room with two rooms and a great bathroom. The KV Arena is just a few minutes away on foot or by car, and the bus stop is practically right outside. The breakfast was very extensive; only the bread rolls weren't quite to our taste.

Located off the beaten path, this carefully restored old factory offers spacious rooms, comfortable beds, bathrooms equipped with every amenity, and an excellent restaurant. Breakfast was only adequate. However, the reception staff were excessively slow at check-in, and there were indecisive and inaccurate comments on the final bill, which were later clarified. The private parking is convenient.

Wonderful location. Great staff. Would have preferred a cooling unit option in the room, we had to open the windows with no screen, at night. Specifically contact them ahead of time for a parking spot otherwise you will walk about 5 minutes for covered paid parking.

Loved this hotel. It has everything you need. The beds were so comfortable. We did have to walk down the hill for evening meals but there are many options within 10 minutes. The staff were so helpful and we could leave our rental car in a gated parking lot. Our room was upgraded to a lovely suite. Would stay here again.

We stood at Interhotel Central for 7 days, I have no idea why this establishment lacks the last, fifth star. The hotel captures/keeps alive the old grandeur from when Karlovy Vary was a playground for the 18th century aristocrats, or so I get the feeling. Nice hotel with nice room and wider single bed. The receptionist was very nice and advised very well. Pool are was clead although the jacuzzi is extremely small. Breakfast would need little improvement like adding some solt in scrambled eggs and better coffee. But it was included.

Location of this hotel was great. However, it was most likely updated in the late 80ties and upkeep and cleanliness are poor. There is no AC. But it was comfortable enough without it. Breakfast was included continental style. For the price and location I say it was worth it.

Good value and great location Location is great, price is great. Hotel is dated but we spent most of the day outside anyway. Breakfast has some average choices, good enough to start your day. Karlovy Vary is small so it is walking distance to all turist spots (Thermal pool, Becherovka, Vřídlo….. ) It is about 40 mins walk from KV train station. We were there at the end of December. Company of 7 people. We occupied 4 rooms: a family room, two double rooms and a single room. The common problem in all rooms is worn-out furniture upholstery, lack of furniture handles, shabby carpets and, with the exception of the single room, moving beds, difficult-to-work plumbing. The place was probably very nice when it first opened. It was still nice and the high ceilings were impressive. We liked the breakfast as well. The price was higher than in Prague but should be expected given the location. No complaints. I am pleasantly surprised to see it is the #1 rated small hotel in town.

It's a bit of a walk from the station and a little far from the market, but otherwise it's great! If you're in the 6th-floor attic, you'll need to climb stairs, but the staff are very nice and easy to get along with, and the breakfast is delicious. It was a great experience!

This is an older hotel located on the outskirts of the scenic area. There's no parking. The rooms are relatively small, and the hot water isn't very hot. The front desk staff is quite helpful.

Lovely historic spa town Lovely city and old buildings and mineral water fountains of different temperatures. Took short trip to Loket one day to see the castle. Staff at hotel was very friendly. Staff even without being asked came to our room with a big fan that made our second night more comfortable as we didn't have AC in our room.
