Wonderful place to stay! Would definitely go back. Beach was full of seaweed (that they worked on cleaning up daily) but still have 2 nice size pools with lots of activities for adults and kids thru out the day

Join into every interactive activity you can. So much fun! We also enjoyed the nightly shows. Classes inside are also decent. The pool is good and the beach nice. Unfortunately, not enough chairs at either so go early

Bring your own refillable water bottle in your suitcase. Cocktail servers are very hit or miss at beach and pool areas. I almost always went and got my own drinks at the bar for lack of attention

Once and IF you find a great server or bartender, tip them and treat them well and they will be great to you. There are definitely a few great ones. It worked best at pool area but rarely in the room or other places

The staff truely made the trip incredible. All of the staff including Ninosca were super helpful and did everything they could to make our trip enjoyable.

There are no filtered water bottles in your room, but instead they have glass bottles for $20 each available that you need to refill yourself. I found this ridiculous since we cannot use the sink water there

I had a very nice room next to the pool, A/C was very cold, the restaurant was good, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. I'm definitely staying here again. See ya soon!!!!!!

New Garden is the best hotel in Sosua!!!! I’ve stayed at New Garden since last April of 2024 13 times. The hotel is clean close to both beaches and the Staff is the Best in Sosua

They treat me like family from the front desk to the waitress to Security and most importantly the house keeping Staff Who keeps the hotel clean. It’s safe and I hate to go but I will be back soon

Rooms were clean and great for the price, pool was nice and clean, staff was also very helpful and attentive.

Property is in perfect area, close to beach and bars, restaurants. Bathroom was barren; not even toilet paper.

This was my second time at new garden! The room is always very clean with the nicest staff. Highly recommend for your stay.

A lovely Hotel just steps to the beach but tucked away in a quiet back street. Well equipped common area with full kitchen and pool for entertaining! Reasonably priced.

The place feels very safe and is very close to the center and the beach. Good WiFi and reliable hot water. The check-in process is a bit too manual and could be better automated

Well run, well maintained small hotel in an excellent location, easy walking distance to the beach, restaurants, and the downtown area. But, not so close to the main drag that you hear all of the loud motos and ATVs

Amazing place to stay! The waterfront area is so beautiful with all of the infinity pools and there’s plenty of chairs and umbrellas. The rooms were clean and had a huge balcony (3 bedroom penthouse)

The grounds had gorgeous plants and flowers everywhere. The restaurant was delicious and the staff were always kind

There's no beach (like no sand) but many swimming pools and direct access to the sea with clear water. Unfortunately the place doesn't have a gym which is really a shame. There is a spa available with massages only

Overall, it was a relaxing and enjoyable experience. Highly recommended for families and anyone looking for a great day by the beach

The staff amd service are wonderful! Its a beautiful venue with gorgeous scenery and in a great spot. Waking distance from 2 beaches and lots of good food and nightlife around.

The location is good and the rooms are decent. Booked last minute on a Saturday night. So I really have no complaints. I would have liked a refrigerator but balcony was nice. Shower with hot water and pressure

The staff was very courteous and although small the room was very clean and the bed quite comfortable. The hotel floors were extremely clean and shining and the pictures created a nice ambiance

The people are nice. The room could have been better. Little hot water and the best was to hard. Also, the room could have benefit from a chair or somewhere to sit.

The hotel is fine and quiet. The room was adequate. The pool is a plus; it's appreciated on these hot days.

While the mosquitos in the rooms were tiny uninvited guests 🦟, a repellent needs to be installed. The pools and gym were a bonus 🏊‍♀️ Breakfast timing is not adhered to and perhaps a refresher course for some staff

Very good people own and operate this very fine and hidden gem of a hotel. I would rather stay here than any Sheraton or Holiday inn. I highly recommend this hotel.

I like that the hotel is super quiet and the staff is friendly. But I went with my husband in the second floor to dine in the restaurant and the dinner took forever to come

After it arrived instead of eating there we take it to the room but at least it worth the wait ‘cause it was delicious. I would like to come back again

The Hotel is in the heart of everything the beach and restaurants all in walking distance. If you want peace and quiet this is not the place for it because as soon as step outside everything is there

It was the best part of our trip, we felt so welcome, the staff at the desk, the huge smile of the doorman, the managers and the ladies in the breakfast area, the pool was clean even after rainy days, we would love to go back next year

The warm welcome of the front desk , follow by a beautiful stunning suite, very clean ,sheets and towels had a fresh clean smell, i went for one night and decided to stay another one , fell in love with this place, thank you to all the staff , definitely will be back soon

They have a full kitchen, so you’re able to cook your own meals. Otherwise, right outside you have local restaurants that offer fresh fish.

Also, no hot water! We had to turn on and off the shower constantly to get hot water for a bath. Asked for a credit at the front desk for this and I was told that they were so sorry, but no credit

Literally go right across to the beach for the complimentary breakfast. The pool looked beautiful ( but we did not get a chance to get in). And porch had a fan that helped with mosquitoes

Toilet tissue and hand soap provided Cons: No paper towels or dish soap provided so you definitely have to purchase. Stove didnt really work great. Definitely buy water as you will only get a couple at check in

Sadly one soda was already open when we checked in. The fridge is a bit dated and rusted. There are pots and pans but not ideal for longer stays if you an on actually cooking. Just not enough to be functional

Two bathrooms is always a plus!!! And they bidet and Hot Water ( this is a serious plus) were excellent. The beds were comfortable as well. The location is impeccable, right on the playa bonita strip

Old school persianas that opened leading from the porch to the main room. The landscape was also plush and beautiful

Very good location to explore the Colonial area. Close to the park, entrance of the Conde. All the essentials are there. Roof top pool and roof top breakfast are very nice

Central location to go everywhere, we had a room with inner view, no street facing, which made it very quiet. We had a cold water dispenser just outside the room which was very useful and convenient

Everything was perfect for the agreed price. There were worse places in the area. I liked the lobby. No problems at all.

It is close to everything you need. Stores, restaurants, bars and pharmacies. The only issue I had was the lights in my room did not work. Other than that everything else was good.

One window faces inside of the house corridor the 2nd window is in toilet facing the outside. Both staff at reception very friendly especially the night shift guy who helped to solve the air con and fan problem

Clean. A/C works 100%... Only issue is that the main Club is right in front so be ready to club n dance to the music n noise till 2am.weekdays.

We were a group of four and booked one of their apartment suites — it was incredibly spacious and comfortable, perfect for relaxing after a day out. The location was also a major plus

I Stayed At The Property Two Times So Far And Everything Was Great I Planned To Revisit Again Soon

The hotel is on the beach, minutes by foot to all restaurants. The penthouse was spacious and with a view on the tropical lush garden, the pool and the ocean. All the personnel is friendly and helpful

The room was really comfortable and spacious and the grounds are lovely. It's a short walk to main business and swimming area of Caberete, but a stretch of the beach with some reefs is right out in front of the hotel.

Quiet paradise Great location and an even better hotel. It was quiet there, you can truly relax by sitting on your balcony and listening to the waves. Pool and jacuzzi were clean, room was nice

The reception staff were friendly, but the people working at the beach restaurant were incredibly slow, inattentive, and careless: you had to ask them to serve you or prepare your food because they never had anything ready

The staff were friendly, and the food was good. However, the room amenities, especially the showers, were quite old, though not terrible. The only thing that upset me was the beach, which was full of trash

Pool had tile falling out, ac didn’t work in our suite, faucet was broken, phone didn’t work, needed help opening our safe… all requested multiple times and never fixed. Food was ok, Italian was really good

Let’s start off by saying entertainment team, beach and pool reserved restaurants are good! Now the rooms are humid do not drink the filtered water I got extremely sick as well as many others at the resort they gatekeep the water bottles and won’t provide it to you at all!!! Front desk is very stand off ish and rude the rooms have bugs buffet food nasty just overall wouldn’t go back again would go...

The staff was amazing from check-in to check-out. Everyone was friendly, welcoming, and fun, and I truly enjoyed interacting with them throughout our stay. A special shout-out to the Kids Club staff—they were incredible

There was a lot of thought and effort that was put in for the guest to enjoy themselves. It seems to me that the resort takes good care of its employees and it shows. I would stay here again without hesitation

- Breakfast is simple but good enough: toast with cheese and ham, coffee and a boiled egg. -Spacious and clean room, friendly staff, can refill drinking water. -500m walking to the gate of the colonial area

Pro: -safe area even at night, because just beside the militery area of the presidential palace, even at 10pm there is still a grocery open

Wow, Garden by the Sea is a little Oasis in Sosua. Nikki is an incredible host, and really makes the effort to help her guests feel comfortable and welcomed. The rooms were very clean, and it was so easy to feel relaxed
