Serenity If the loud, party atmosphere is not your jam, then Selectum Hacienda is for you. So quiet and serene. The staff is all very professional, kind and accommodating. The breakfast is a true feast. You are steps away from the beach or you can choose to relax poolside. This truly was what we needed.

Hotel in a large complex right in front of Bavaro beach. The facilities are good, although compared to other hotels I miss an infinity pool. What I liked least was the quality of the food, worse than expected, and the service a bit slow. For several days they did not refill the minibar.

Bella Vida Hotel was a great stay. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout, and the location was a big plus. Feels lime after renovation! Both room and decor was fresh and brand new. Pool view is amazing! Beach is just few steps and they show you personal umbrella and loungers. There was no facility to put soap or shampoo in the bathroom, the battery in the TV remote control ended its life and emitted acid, the sink's tap in the bathroom was out of order, it was stuck on very hot water, without pissibility to adjust the temperature of the water. It is OK to spend a night.  Breakfast is not continental, everyday the same.  Internet was not good. TV with no Chanel.  lol.    Language only Spanish.  Towels was soap smelled.

About 20 kilometers from the airport. The room is of medium size but the mattress is too soft. Breakfast is two slices of bread and scrambled eggs!

The hotel is quite good when compared with hotels in this price category. With security and a barrier, hot water, drinking water in the lobby. Breakfast is modest, scrambled eggs and toast.

The beach is impossible to get to. There are huge hotels on the road that don't allow people to cross their property. I had to walk halfway around town or take a taxi. There was no hot water, apparently they were renovating something. The water in the pool was cloudy with rust. The breakfast was disgusting 🤮 The only positive is the low price. I recommend paying extra and staying somewhere decent!

Noise levels were high due to the construction outside and all the cars driving by at all hours of the night.
