The hotel's location is excellent, right near the Grand Egyptian Museum and not far from the pyramids. Getting a taxi is very convenient. The room was clean and well-equipped, and even had a balcony. The hotel's internal view was beautiful, and the breakfast was plentiful. All the staff were very enthusiastic. A special shout-out to the Housekeeping Manager, a young Chinese man. Knowing we arrived in Cairo at 6 AM, he kindly arranged an early check-in for us, allowing us to rest properly after an overnight flight before starting our pleasant trip to Egypt.

After learning we wanted to experience local public transport, the front desk lady was incredibly helpful. She looked up how to get to Salah El Din Citadel by metro for us, writing down the directions and transfer stations in detail on a card, and even helped us exchange for small change. She's truly beautiful inside and out! Thank you, and thank you, David, for making every day of our stay in Cairo so enjoyable.

Seeing a Chinese hotel in Cairo gave me such a warm and familiar feeling! The value for money is excellent, and the guest room manager provided very attentive service. The biggest surprise was how delicious the shredded potato stir-fry was at breakfast – definitely cooked by a Chinese chef! 😬

This hotel, part of a Chinese state-owned enterprise, has a friendly lion statue at the entrance – a pleasant surprise, like meeting an old friend in a foreign land! The two young Chinese managers were very warm and attentive, and the Egyptian staff were also very polite.

The Cairo Sunshine Hotel was such a delightful surprise! As an overseas outpost of PetroChina, seeing the five-starred red flag flying outside immediately put me at ease. It boosted my sense of security immensely, making me feel incredibly safe and comfortable in a foreign land.

The location couldn't be better. It's directly across from the Grand Egyptian Museum and very close to the Giza Pyramids, making it super convenient for sightseeing. The surrounding area is quiet, and the streets are clean and tidy, which made for a very pleasant and relaxing stay.

What truly touched me was the Chinese food here! The flavors were authentic and incredibly satisfying. It was by far the happiest and most 'taste of home' meal I had on this entire trip to Egypt. One night, I didn't get back to the hotel until midnight, and the manager still arranged for Chinese food to be waiting for us – I was genuinely moved to tears!

I must express my gratitude to the Chinese manager, who provided attentive care throughout our stay, always responding to our requests and helping us resolve all sorts of issues. Their thoughtfulness and warmth made me feel a strong sense of camaraderie abroad, which was truly touching.

With our national flag, a taste of home, care from fellow countrymen, and a fantastic location, I wholeheartedly recommend the Cairo Sunshine Hotel to every Chinese traveler visiting Egypt!

This is our first trip to Egypt and we chose Soluxe Cairo Hotel as this is quite close to Giza Necropolis. The hotel has 4 buildings in total . We stayed in Unit B on room 305.
To start with, we arrived quite early in the morning around 0730 am and we requested for early check. The staff at reception checked and offered us early check-in once the room is ready. We waited until 0930 and then we finally managed to get in. The first room that we were given was not the same that we booked so we requested in reception for change in room to which they happily complied. Our room was massive with a balcony attached. The room had good amenities with dental and shower kits. They also provided slipper sets.
The environment was wonderful with cooperative staff members. The breakfast buffet has good choice of food.
However, there are some cons. Even though the hotel is 4 star but looks quite old. Some of the furnitures are aged. The balcony was big but the window panels were full of dust. There were not enough plug points in the room. The washroom had thr necessary amenities but there is no jet spray to use after using commode. We used the same towels for 4 days. There were no additional dental kits and we loterally ran out of tooth paste.
Despite these, the hotel is very spacious with peaceful environment and a swimming pool. The price is very reasonable and we loved every bit of our stay in Cairo.

Exceeded all expectations! I originally just wanted a clean hotel close to the Pyramids and the Grand Egyptian Museum, but this place went far beyond that! We arrived very late and were starving. After discussing it with the hotel staff, they actually cooked noodles just for us – I have pictures to prove it! A bowl of ramen later, I was literally moved to tears. Thanks to the hotel manager, David, we received incredibly attentive, family-like care here. The room, bedding, and bathroom were all very clean and well-maintained. And after our first day exploring downtown Cairo, we truly appreciated how quiet this hotel was by comparison. In short, I unexpectedly experienced an excellent and friendly corporate culture all the way in Cairo, a hotel that genuinely puts its guests first.

The Chinese food was delicious. After traveling around Europe for a month, we ate Chinese food here for two consecutive days and would rank it among the best in Europe and Africa.

If you're coming to visit the Pyramids and the Grand Egyptian Museum (and who wouldn't?), I highly recommend this hotel. I think it's much better value than Mena House…

The location is fantastic, directly across from the Grand Egyptian Museum and not far from the pyramids. The facilities are a bit dated, but fortunately, the rooms are spacious. You can see hotel staff meticulously maintaining the pool and cleanliness every day. The breakfast deserves a special shout-out; they have congee and noodles, which is incredibly friendly for Chinese palates!

This hotel felt very Chinese, which was great, and the breakfast definitely satisfied my Chinese palate! The room came with slippers, toothpaste, a toothbrush, and even Chinese-style power outlets. It's really close to the Grand Egyptian Museum and the pyramids. The hotel manager was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful!

The breakfast was a lifesaver for my Chinese palate. The hotel has a swimming pool, billiards, and a gym, all well-equipped. You can also enjoy the light show of the pyramids at night. Highly recommended! You get to experience the stunning night view for just 10% of the price of Mena House.
