Weird experience Extremely rude receptionist at the desk when I arrived to check in after a long day of travelling. Overall left me with a very baffled feeling, since everything else in the hotel was good or even excellent. Also amazingly good breakfast.

Nice and clean hotel & abundant breakfast. The bathroom was very sterile and cold and the big tv did not really work (pixels were messy and sound cutting). Truck traffic outside of the main entrance woke me up early in the morning.

This hotel’s style takes you back to the Finnish 1980-1990s, for better or worse. Everything works, but much of it could do with some renovation. The room we had was extremely basic, the bathroom microscopic, and the sound isolation rather poor. Overall it seems well suited for families with little children, and the staff are very friendly.

Great hotel in a lovely location but wouldn't want to be there in summer season due to theme park next door ( closed in May). Large room, better than some Scandics. A hotel in bad need of updating. Especially on hot summer days. Lack of air fans, when there is no air conditioning in the building makes this place a hard place to sleep in. Beautiful and quiet location, lots to see nearby and good public transport connections right in front of the hotel. Helpful and friendly staff. Not all rooms have air conditioning and the hotel is a bit worn out, but everything worked and individual wishes were taken into account.

A peaceful hotel/spa by the sea, surrounded by beautiful nature. The rooms are old, like the hotel, but at least when traveling with a pet, there was plenty of space. It's not a party place, but all the ingredients for a vacation are there. I really liked this hotel. Don’t let its office-block exterior fool you, this is a great hotel. We had a large (and quiet) room with comfortable beds. Breakfast was great and the staff were super friendly. The location is about two minutes walk from the train station and maybe five minutes walk from the market square.

I arrived early, so I just left my luggage at the hotel before my friend treated me to breakfast there. Then we went sightseeing. The breakfast buffet was excellent, offering a wide variety of food, including some Finnish specialities. LOVED the deep bathtub! Excellent breakfast offerings and good quality food. So much delicious variety! Everyone is super friendly and the location is good for walking to dinner. We dined at Bella Roma nearby, which was also a very good experience.

It was a great property. It does not have easy access for the front desk as you can not drive up to drop off bags. But it is a great location, the staff were very friendly, and the room and beds were comfy. The hotel parking wasn’t very well organized either.

Welcome Return Visit I have stayed here before and hope to again. Right in the center of town and an easy walk to the train & bus station. The single rooms are small,particularly the bathrooms but the location, breakfast and friendly, helpful staff more than make up for tha. And there’s a pool and sauna!

The room is quite large. You can use a room card to access the elevator, so security is guaranteed. Luggage storage is available. Note that you need to find the button on the wall to close the curtains, as one of my companions didn't know this and didn't.

We had an excellent stay at Hotel AX! The hotel’s unique art-inspired design and spacious, well-equipped rooms made our stay truly memorable.
