Calm location about 10 minutes drive from the city. The hotel is in traditional style, which is nice, but very small room and even smaller bathroom. No change of towels during the stay, so there is space for improvement. The restaurant is ok, but not very inventive in changing menus and not quick in refilling

Very clean and quiet hotel — it feels recently renovated inside. The staff were warm, attentive, and welcoming throughout our stay. We booked a room with bunk beds, which was perfect for families traveling with children. The hotel is located a bit away from the city center, train station, and harbor, but there are supermarkets and restaurants within a one-minute walk, which is very convenient.

Superb! We arrived VERY early (like 6am) by train in the morning. The owner was quite nice to let us check in. Breakfast and Sauna were close and quite handy in such freezing temperature. Will definitely recommend!

This wasn’t my first stay at this hotel and definitely won’t be the last. The rooms have everything one might need, including a tea kettle, small fridge, and toiletries. There are also separate kitchen facilities and a nice coffee machine available in the lobby. The bed linens, towels, and bathroom were all neat and tidy - no complaints at all! We stayed at this hotel to experience the icebreaker activity. The hotel is located about 5 km from Kemi; there are no public transport connections to the city, but taxis are quite affordable and convenient. We stayed at the camping area of Hotel Yöpuu in Kemi and had a very good experience. The sanitary facilities were clean and well heated, which was really appreciated, especially in winter. Electricity was available at the camping spots. The staff was friendly and helpful. Overall, a pleasant and comfortable place to stay.

Lauri is a true hidden gem in Rovaniemi. I and my friends stayed in the beautiful historical loghouse which was perfect for our group of 4, (cozy spacious and full of character). I stayed with my family in one of the apartments and it was very clean and organized, we were very comfortable. The location is also very good as it is only a few minutes from the center. On the other hand, the store is very cozy and has very good quality handmade products.

We stopped here for a night on our eay home from a ski holiday. Our family room for 5 was perfect...the kitchen/dining was useful as we got a local takeaway for dinner and thanks for leaving us coffee etc...great set up and great location close to the snow glow park for kids, shopping centre with glow mini golf and the bus transfer to lapland winter park and the airport. Our family of two adults and two teenagers visited northern Finland during the second week of November 2024. We stayed in cabin Lauri IV, and it was a cozy, cute little cabin. The cabin was clean and we had plenty of space. We only wished the fireplace worked!

For Christmas, I splurged on what might be a once-in-a-lifetime trip with my three children. We were expecting -20°C, but it was unexpectedly warm at 1°C on the day, and we were blessed with good weather and got to see the Northern Lights – it was absolutely breathtaking! The transportation from the zoo to the resort is unclear; those using public transport can only take taxis to the park and also to the bus station, otherwise it's very inconvenient. The staff were all very friendly and professional. Upon check-in, we found the room wasn't cleaned properly, but the staff quickly addressed the issue.

The hotel facilities are new and clean, but it is difficult to get there by public transportation. There is less light pollution at night, and we are lucky enough to see the aurora. It is recommended to drive there by yourself. 

The hotel is located far from the city, about an hour's drive away. Although it is a bit far away, the aurora borealis exploded in this hotel. We stayed in a glass house and the aurora was all around us. It was very fun. The only downside is that the hotel doesn't have a TV. But I highly recommend this hotel mainly for chasing the aurora and self-driving.

We were there in wintertime and it was amazing. The houses are very cute and clean. It is nice that you have your own doorstep. We had a nice tiny house experience. Good place for overnight stay with your tent or caravan. Far away from the main road, so no noise during night time. Available services in tent area: WC, Shower, Small kitchen (w/o fridge), electricity available only in caravan parking

Unfortunately, we weren't able to see the aurora borealis, but the time we spent at this hotel was an unforgettable experience. Be sure to book a plan that includes dinner. The grilled reindeer is amazing!

This property is just outside of Levi (about 10-15 mins drive from main town center). It’s a beautiful property and the igloo rooms are quite spacious , luxurious and comfortable with all amenities. Their breakfast was good but could have been better. They provide a hot tub outside every igloo room but I feel the water wasn’t warm enough so we couldn’t use it in the cold weather.

I made the reservation for two nights in Northern Light Huts. I am suprised of experience to sleep under windows and see millions of stars twinkling. Huts are new, warm and very clean. Second stay here, it's our favorite cabin in Levi! Raisa, the host is super friendly, answers very quickly and gives great advice and tips. The beds are very comfortable, the sauna is plus. We would definitely come back here next time in Lapland.

The relatively affordable option in Rovaniemi (everything is expensive) but good room, remember to check in at another location before coming!

The check-in location is different from the accommodation location; it's a 10-minute walk. The rooms are comfortable, and there's a kitchen in the hotel where you can cook.

Since it was a detached building, there were no special services! I knew that when I went, so there were no problems. There were also facilities where you can learn about the Northern Lights and Finnish nature, as well as a large supermarket, within walking distance, so there were no problems. I recommend this hotel for those who are just looking for a place to stay!

The suite is comfortable, spacious and very nice design. Manage to catch northern light from the window. Walking distance to santa clause village. Only thing to take note is please take uber to the hotel reception. Do not stop at the information centre of santa clause village as there is no proper walkway to carry luggage from santa clause village to the hotel.

Hands down one of the most badass experiences I’ve had. Sleeping out on a frozen lake, dragged into position by snowmobile, watching the Northern Lights from bed—it doesn’t get better. The cabin was simple but solid—warm, comfortable, and had everything I needed. The whole setup is just smart and well done. If you’re after something that feels remote but still comfortable, this is the spot.

We came to feed the reindeers, but we seen the amazing deal to have some lunch (ending at 14:00). We were very late already (13:50) but the staff spoke to eachother, and told us we could go for lunch! The taste was lovely and the buffet choice was plenty. A cozy Finish hotel directly on skiing tracks (one does not need a car if comes here for cross country skiing as the bus from the airport stops directly before the hotel).
