Nice room which seemed recent'ishly renovated. Good air conditioning and light blocking curtains. The only complaint is that you can somewhat disturbingly hear sounds coming from waterpipes or something. These continued over the night. If you're a light sleeper you likely won't sleep much here.

Pleasantly surprised. The hotel was clean and neat and the breakfast buffet was one of the better ones I have seen.

We had a pet room (2 cats). It is nice that sokos hotels remember the pets with a goodie bag but a shame it's always only dogstuff. We chose this hotel because it was the cheapest option in Turek during the August long weekend. There are plenty of attractions here, but they come at an additional cost. A former luxury spa, perhaps a bit run down. The family room is spacious and the spa is nice. The place closes too early on weekends, so it's worth going for a swim as soon as you arrive. Hesburger was closed even though it was supposed to be open according to the opening hours. The food at the Classic Pizza restaurant came quickly, and food was good.

Kids like here, as hotel guests can also visit to water theme park. The hotel is a bit old, but still acceptable. I don't like the parking service -- hotel doesn't provide free or discounted parking for guests, and it is quite expensive, I spent almost 30€ for the parking.

It was our second visit to Holiday Club Caribia, Turku. Surprisingly we got exactly the same room to stay as of previous time in 2021. The swimming pools are the best part of the hotel, the rooms were not properly cleaned up, we found lots of dust in the corners of the room. Bathroom was better than the last visit. Overall, it was a good experience being in Caribia.

Very average hotel with poor adult facilities, but a great place for children. If you want to relax and spend time there as if you are in spa hotel, it is not a right place. Children are everywhere. Also they have quite bad sound isolation in the rooms. You will hear every cry.

Very nice hotel, the rooms the breakfast the facilities and the service are all amazing. The only downside to this hotel is the location. It is around a 30 minute metro to Helsinki and to get into espoo you have to take a tram for 11 stops and then get on a bus for 3 which makes it quite complex to find the location on arrival. But overall very good hotel!

Great location next to campus & good spot to work from. I went for a run in the area and it was a beautiful part of the archipelago. Breakfast was wonderful as usual with made-to-order omelette and a wide selection of breakfast foods. The staff was very friendly & helpful.

Quite dated hotel on walking distance from the Espoo business area. The hotel is in need of renovation, but still a fairly solid choice for the business traveller. This hotel’s style takes you back to the Finnish 1980-1990s, for better or worse. Everything works, but much of it could do with some renovation. The room we had was extremely basic, the bathroom microscopic, and the sound isolation rather poor. Overall it seems well suited for families with little children, and the staff are very friendly.

Great hotel in a lovely location but wouldn't want to be there in summer season due to theme park next door ( closed in May). Large room, better than some Scandics. A hotel in bad need of updating. Especially on hot summer days. Lack of air fans, when there is no air conditioning in the building makes this place a hard place to sleep in. There is a limited choice of hotels in Lappeenranta and the Scandic Patria is showing it's age inside and out (like most Scandics). All in all though, it is a good hotel, rooms are comfortable but dated. The location is the main attraction being just 150m from the Harbour Square/Satamatori. Breakfast was good and staff friendly. There is lots of free on-street parking nearby.

Coming from three disappointing hotels in Kajaani, hotel Aateli was a very, very positive surprise. The breakfast, the staff, the and room's facilities were just what I needed.

Worst hotel experience in Finland so far. The room was old, poorly maintained, and not properly cleaned. The key card system was a constant issue; they were unable to provide us with two functioning room cards. Really nice rooms, very clean. The kids play room is a huge pluse if you are with kids.

The family room was great, with a large bedroom and a separate bunk bed. The wooden cabin was cozy. It's a five-minute walk back to the hotel after skiing, and a three-minute walk to the shopping street. A perfect choice for Levi Ski Resort.

Room was spotless and really well laid out for families

I've stayed here many times. The rooms are decent, and the breakfast is a standard European breakfast. It's right in the city center, so it's very convenient to get around. Parking costs €16 per day; remember to tell the front desk when you arrive, otherwise you'll get a parking ticket.

This is a delightful little gem, perfect for families. The property has a great restaurant, a wonderful buffet breakfast, and superb pool, hot tubs, and saunas. I also has wonderful entertainment possibilities, with ping pong, pool table, and even a little bowling alley.

To those who go to this hotel, I recommend you to take bus or car and not try to walk since the hotel is located above a steep hill. Don't be fooled by the outside look of the hotel. Though it might look very glim and boring on the outside, it's certainly refreshing inside. It has amazing spa at night, bowling hall, and bar is also available for the night, although it closes fairly soon.

This is a former Olympic training center now used by local youth as a full time training facility so there's a LOT of kids and families staying here but everyone was polite and well behaved. Great hotel, super convenient

If i could rate above excellent, I would. The food, the room, the location, staff and parking made for an extremely memorable visit. We absolutely loved this hotel and town. They even gave us functional and festive Christmas room keys to take home.

The family room was very nice, but the fifth person was considered an extra bed and slept on a sofa. The hotel ground floor was great for watching the Northern Lights, and we saw them that night. There seemed to be a sauna in the bathroom, but we didn't try it as we didn't know how to use it. The hotel breakfast was an English breakfast, and the hotel entrance offered views of the ski resort.
