Location is excellent and right on place Bellecour. We had a Bellecour view balcony which was amazing. The rooms are a little small but gorgeous! The decor is very authentic. Breakfast was limited but products were great

The hotel is very well located. The restaurant is being renovated, and the hotel offers few common areas, which are quite small

Also, Ctrip's overseas customer service isn't very helpful; don't count on it; you'll have to rely on yourself! They don't give points for reviews, and I won't post pictures anymore; it wastes my data

I'm used to opening the window as soon as I walk in, and it ruined my sleep. Fortunately, I negotiated with the front desk and got a room change

Cocktail prices are rather exorbitant… the room was very pleasant (we were in a junior suite), and the staff was very helpful

I paid cash on the spot, and it was over $100 cheaper than my previous room. It seems Ctrip is being too shady

When I did the checkin, already clearly declared that we had two guests to stay, but they reacted like being fine and accepted and didn’t need to do anything

Nice rooms, we got a room with the Mountain View. The room had a peculiar smell of wood but it was acceptable . Swimming pool has a great view overlooking the Alpes. We had a nice relaxing stay and can recommend it.

Amazing location and view. Restaurant menu not the greatest but the hotel is extremely close to Chamonix, and the hotel provides public transportation passes in case you are travelling without a car. Great amenities.

Very helpful staff 👍🏼Loved the pool-Jacuzzi, the mountain view & the bar. I didn't try the restaurant but they were serving local specials when I was there. A big Thank You!

Great recreation billard table, game machines, fitness/gym and huge lobby with comfortable sofa. Rent bike (with helmet) for free. In the evening u can sit and enjoy live music. There’s shuttle service but please check

Lovely suite at the Crown Plaza. Breakfast was excellent and staff very polite and helpful. The only downside was that the lifts weren't working and it was a long walk to the car because of this

However this would not deter us from staying there again!

The hotel is fully booked and lots of people in the breakfast but the team still can make everything smooth and quick and try to accommodate everyone

The hotel is about 300-400 meters from the tram, so it's quite convenient to walk. The check-in experience was decent, though the facilities aren't the newest.

We chose Alexander Park to stay as it close to Chambéry Airport and are glad we did. Adequately sized room with two double beds which were very comfortable

We ate in the Hotel restaurant, which offers a fine dining tasting menu. My wife is vegan so we booked ahead and checked that they would cater for her. We expected a more simple dinner for her

We had fantastic weekend in Lyon the hotel was fantastic base, well located to visit different parts of the city. Our room was well appointed and designed, with a really warm feeling

The kitchen, however, devised a full vegan tasting menu each course complimenting the the regular meat/ Fish menu that I had. This made our dinner really special and memorable

Breakfast is perfect with a huge selection and unbeatable views. The downsides are that there's no kettle or bottled water in the room, and while comfortable, it's a bit minimalist

Another drawback is that the spa is quite disappointing; the relaxation room has an odd smell, the jacuzzi facilities are broken, though the sauna is fine

The hotel itself is less than a minute walk to the main downtown area, but somehow manages to feel like it’s in its own neighborhood. Also the cookie dessert at the restaurant is out of this world

We did not have a room here, but many in our mountain biking group did, and we gathered here for their breakfasts, for celebratory drinks, and to venture out to the trails

Clean and sanitary, you can see the snow-capped mountains when you open the window, and it is also convenient to take the free train to the town

Didn't hear any noise from fellow guests. Handy USB sockets next to the bed were handy for charging. Bedding was clean, mattress was super comfy. Shower had plenty of hot water available, and showed no sign of mould

You could even find instant noodles in the old town (this trip was so long, I actually missed them!). The staff were all professional. Furthermore, I felt the strength of the Accor Group in France

The hotel is very conveniently located in the heart of Lyon, close to all the sights, restaurants, and boutiques.

Spent 7 nights here, fantastisch location close to shopping street, Maine square of New Lyon and alsof close enough to walk to old Lyon. Breakfast was plenty but every morning the same. Good housekeeping it was very neat

The location was great! It's convenient to go anywhere! The room was also very clean. The only thing that bothered me was the weak water pressure in the shower.

The breakfast selection was plentiful. There was also a small supermarket near the hotel; a quick Google Maps search would take you there

We had a very good rest, likely and largely due to the very positive aura of the whole place (I imagine how decades and even centuries of prayers that took place here from the time it was a monastery/nunnery has brought about the serenity and blessing you could feel palpable in the air ☺️)

However, some basic research beforehand would have helped. The breakfast wasn't as good as I expected, just average. The steaming water in the hotel swimming pool was actually quite cold; it was just too cold outside

Not enough words can fully describe this modernly-refurbished fairy-tale hotel, its surrounding and location, also the lovely breakfast offering in a wonderful setting - a great albeit too short stay for our one night stop in Lyon

However, the advantage is that everything is within easy walking distance; even the river is only a 15-minute walk downhill. The room was decent, quite large, but not very warm and didn't offer much of a view

Every detail seems considered: the polished wood, the measured quiet of the rooms, the view of Lyon that reminds you why this hill has always been sacred ground. To rest here is to feel time slow down

Either the hotel is quite new, or the owners makes sure everything is alright. I particularly enjoyed a shower with plenty of water and pressure. My wife was very fond of the bed

This is not The Ritz, and you don't pay for that either. But for a 2-3 stars hotel this is definitely a 5. Clean room, everything is working, for what it is the quality is very high

The hotel is in a great location, in the city center, surrounded by many restaurants, shops, and pharmacies. It is also very close to the tram station, about a 15-minute walk from the train station

Surrounded by mountains on three sides, it's a nice town with universities, high-tech and tourism industries. The hotel is right in the city center, within walking distance of museums and shops

You can also walk across the river and climb up to the Bastille Castle. But if you want to ski or go hiking in the mountains, you need a car. The balcony is narrow, but the view is good. Overall, I am quite satisfied

The location is what this hotel is all about, in the beautiful old town are near the river. The well appointed room was comfortable and clean.

good hotel, main pluses are the huge 50m outdoor pool and the gym/fitness facilities. Didn’t eat dinner at hotel so can’t comment on that. Rooms were clean and nice but only ok. Corridors were run down and smelt bad

I know this hotel well, staying regularly every year in their studios, which are impeccable, but I'd like to draw attention to two significant flaws: 1/ Weak Wi-Fi: Their Wi-Fi has been poor for years, and nothing has been done to improve it

From the moment I arrived all the team I encountered was friendly, professional, and genuinely welcoming. I really appreciated how calm and proactive they were— nothing ever felt like an inconvenience

Unfortunately, I hadn’t noticed the small print in the booking that the pool is part of the spa facilities and only accessible if you pay the spa day-rate of 45 Euros per adult and 22 Euros per child per day

Our kids were hugely disappointed and it took the shine off our experience here. I also noticed a sign (and see from other reviews) that men and boys can’t wear swimming shorts with pockets in the pool

The property was in a great location and the grounds were beautiful. The hotel staff were all excellent and very accommodating. The spa was very nice and the indoor/outdoor pool was a nice touch

Good room (although it took me a couple of days to get the overnight temperature right - the room can get very hot and they disable the cooling airconditioning in winter {it would have been nice to have been told that on arrival])

There's a hotel shuttle mini-bus which takes and picks up skiers to and from the various ski areas in Chamonix. Big shout out to Daniel from Madeira who is the dedicated driver this year

romantic getaway Grounds and spa are spectacular, although hot tub is small and not hot enough. Staff very helpful. Room was very nice but problem with the shower and no USB outlets

I ate at the restaurant in the hotel once and Maison Carrier twice - all highly recommended. The staff are friendly and efficient

The Underground car park has really steep access ramps, so very low cars might struggle. It is however reassuringly secure. At the moment, the exit route from the car park is dug up but we weren’t notified

We ate out in town but had a drink at the bar which has an great fish tank to look at. Breakfast was excellent in the morning with a really good range and even had loose leaf tea

It meant driving over very rough ground/stones before exiting across a pedestrian route and cycle way onto a very confusing/poorly signposted one way junction
