Hôtel De Paris Opera in Paris

Generally good. Staff was great. Clean and perfect for the price. Short walking distance to the metro. great value for money.

The hotel's location is excellent, just a 6-minute walk from the station. The surroundings are great, clean, and tidy. The staff are enthusiastic and always willing to help. Their luggage storage service was also very well-handled.

The location is excellent, the surroundings are quiet, and the breakfast is good. Definitely worth staying here.

Not bad can see the view but the door key doesn’t work

There’s elevator for this hotel, and it’s near to Lafayette and also euro star station, quite convenient, the only down side is that there’s no Internet in room

It's a bit of a walk from Gare du Nord to get there. It's not a particularly large hotel; 'inn' might be a more accurate description. There's an elevator, but it's very small, probably only fitting three or four people at most. Breakfast is the same every day. The bread seems to be freshly baked each morning – on my first few mornings in Paris, when I wasn't quite over the jet lag, I could smell the aroma of bread right from my room. However, after seeing cockroaches in the dining area on the third morning, I completely lost my appetite. The service is decent, and there's a hot water dispenser in the dining area.

The hotel is about a 10-minute walk from Gare du Nord, very convenient for travelers. It’s a simple hotel mainly for sleeping, as there’s no air conditioning or fridge. I stayed during autumn, and leaving the balcony door open kept the room naturally cool throughout the night.

There’s a small lift that goes up to the 4th floor, but my room was on the 5th, so I had to carry my luggage one extra floor. It was worth it though, as I had a beautiful view of the Eiffel Tower in the distance from my balcony!

The bathroom was clean, and I was pleasantly surprised to find a bathtub. My room also included breakfast. It was not a huge spread, but sufficient to start the day.

Service was mixed. The young chap and elderly man at reception were very friendly. The young staff even offered me hot water when he heard me coughing in the lobby, which I really appreciated. However, the other reception staff were not as welcoming.

Overall, this is a budget-friendly hotel with breakfast included. Great if you want a convenient location and a simple place to sleep, but don’t expect too many amenities.

Good location 10mins walk from Gare du Nord and 7-8mins walk to metro. Good value for money. The hotel is a bit old in the hall way but in the room is quite nice.

Downside that it not have the Aircon.

Maison Mère in Paris has become our go-to hotel for our World Vegan Travel groups, and for good reason! This is our third time booking around 15 rooms for our travelers, and each stay has been better than the last. The hotel's location is absolutely perfect, placing us right in the heart of the city. While the rooms are on the cozy side (as is typical for Paris), they're beautifully decorated and thoughtfully designed, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The staff goes above and beyond, always accommodating our special requests, like arranging private breakfasts for our group despite limited space. We truly appreciate the incredible service and the wonderful team at Maison Mère, and we can’t wait to return!
