If you need a cheap place to lay your head, this probably isn't the worst option. I will say this, the bed was pretty comfy for a thin mattress. You get one blanket and pillow, which I was there in June so I didn't know if it was warm enough for colder seasons.

The room is filthy. Lightly swept but has dirt caked in the sides. My shower was at the foot of the bunk bed, and a sink on the other side of that. You have to travel to a different floor for a toilet. There was only one outlet in the room, and it was weak so plugins would fall out in the night. We did have a wonderful window to keep open for a breeze in the summer, but you're located by bars and cafes. People will be loud all day, and until nearly 3am. This, for a college atmosphere, is not uncommon. But if you plan to travel hard, this isn't a good first stop or relaxing area.

Breakfast closes early. They kick you out 11-3 for cleaning. If you head out in the mornings after 9:30am they have often started mopping floors where you will be walking. Most of the building doesn't follow US fire safety code. The elevator is cramped and slow, so try to avoid it. Luggage room is a musty basement with racks, and water in odd places for the luggage. Highly recommend you have bag locks and a cable, a hard shell bag or to tuck fragile things in the center. Try to do backpacking, as a wheeled suitcase would be a monster here.

It is a little tricky to find, but Google Maps leads you right to it. It just has a tricky enterance. I ended up four nights here. Not terrible but definitely one of the worst places to try and rest in. No socialization area downstairs, it's crowded and awkward seating arrangement doesn't offer much.

We ordered a private room with a twin bed and instead got bunk beds. The rooms only have one outlet and the hotel kicks you out of your room from 11 am until 3 pm. When you leave the hostel, you have to give your room key back to them. For what purpose, I have no idea. Probably won't come back here again.

Edit: on our last day, the cleaner came in to our private room at 10:30 without knocking, when I was sleeping in my birthday suite. When I went down to tell the management about it on our checkout, he just said "sorry, I'll see who it was" with a smile on his face and not at all apologetic. If they take our keys, surely they would know who's still in their room and who's not.... Terrible. Just terrible.

it was at a very good location, unfortunately the staff weren't friendly. bed weren't that clean, i came home with red spots on my body, legs, arms because of bed bugs, and yet the staff said they clean the place everyday from 11 am till 3pm...

You literally have to pay for everything, towels, soaps, cutleries, etc because they are not included. The rooms smells bad, breakfast is decent bread and coffee.

Worst thing is you need to be out of the hotel at 11AM to 3PM for a mandatory cleaning time (as per the hostel) which is really a hassle if you get back to the hostel from a bar/drinks in which case you need to get up early and can't stay in the hotel at that time. They also have a weird rule that you need to leave the keys to the reception everytime you go out even if you are just buying something outside.

Easy going hotel. Good value for money.

This hotel is only suitable for young, budget-conscious travelers who just need a place to crash for a few hours. The rooms are tiny, featuring a bunk bed, sink, and shower, but no private toilet. The shared toilet facilities are minuscule. We only used the room because we needed a place to store our bags for the night, having arrived in Paris ready to hit the town and knowing we had to get up early. We only slept for two hours, and for that, the hotel perfectly served its purpose. For 40 euros a night for two people in Paris, what more could you ask for? The receptionist was friendly.

Great value for the price, particularly for Paris, and a simple breakfast is also offered.

Good location, close to Lyon train station. Nice staff. Budget friendly hostel.

Decent location, and no bed bugs, which is a huge plus. The place is cleaned daily. My only minor gripe is that breakfast didn't include eggs. Also, there's no toilet on the 4th floor, but going down to the 3rd floor isn't really an issue.
