This is a fantastic little hotel in a most terrific location, very near to Notre Dame and on the sweet Ile de St Louis. Great restaurants nearby, access to trains, buses, Metro. The staff are all so kind and helpful. The room was small but perfectly appointed, clean with excellent bed and linens. We would stay here again and recommend this place so highly!
This place offers a great location that’s both convenient and easily accessible, surrounded by a friendly and welcoming community. The environment is clean, peaceful, and ideal for relaxing or spending quality time with others, making it a perfect choice for anyone seeking comfort and a pleasant atmosphere.
Possibly the best location I've ever stayed in Paris; just by Notre Dame, you could hear 'the bells' every morning. We walked to all the sights including Le Louvre, Musee d'Orsay, Place des Vosges and Le Marais - we even found the house where Jim Morrison of 'The Doors' met his maker!
Very pretty entrance and lounge with fire. The concierge team was very helpful.

It feels like living in the Life Hotel! I really want to come back to Paris and stay longer if I have the chance!
1. The accommodation environment is very good, the first floor and the room design are very elegant and French. From the moment you enter the hotel to the room, the hygiene and aesthetics are excellent. I even took some photos of the lounge area on the first floor, hoping to use it as a...
The location is very advantageous. It is on the island in the center of Paris. The hotel is an old building from the 16th century and is very stylish. Near the hotel, there are cafes, restaurants, and small shops, which interpret the streets of Paris. The front desk staff are very enthusiastic and proactive, and the hotel is great value for money.
It's not close to the subway station, but the hotel's location is very good. The facilities, environment and service are also very good.

We had a lovely stay at the Hotel Charles V.
So quiet snd yet in the heart of the city. Great breakfast buffet for a small boutique hotel. Very nice staff. Beautiful room and common areas. We look forward to returning.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Charles V and hope to return! Beautifully maintained old property with friendly staff in a wonderful location.
A very lovely boutique hotel in the scenic and lively La Marais neighborhood. A short walk to Notre Dame and the Seine, Metro station around the corner, great bakeries and bistros close by, with fine dining options as well. Clean hotel with robes and slippers, old style charm and comfortable rooms. Loved it, we’ll definitely be back!
2nd time to stay here - quiet boutique hotel - staff in particular Mark and Pierre were super helpful and professional - off the main street no street noise or crowds -
Charles V is a Parisian gem! If I were ever to own a hotel, I’d want it to be just like this one. Intimate, chic, comfortable and perfectly located. Our new home away from home in Paris!
Lovely accommodation. Rooms are small but well appointed. Clean, safe, and excellent location.
Great hotel. We stayed in the hotel for 10 days and every day we were happy with our choice. Great location in the village of Saint Paul, very attentive staff. Thank you for eveything, we will be happy to come back again.

We had a wonderful stay at Maison Saintonge. The hotel is utterly charming and impeccably clean, with that warm, intimate Parisian feel. Yes, the rooms are small but that’s completely standard for Paris. The location is fantastic: right in one of the coolest neighbourhoods, with great cafés, boutiques, and atmosphere right on your doorstep. We’ll definitely be back. One small tip: rooms facing the...
My first visit to Paris and I stayed in La Marais as recommended by a friend. This hotel was in the perfect location and as a solo traveller I felt very safe. It was close to the Notre Dame and the river and I travelled around very easily on foot or water taxi rather than the metro. The room was small but perfect - had everything I needed and a really comfy bed, the most important part! The staff were...
I'll be very honest about this place. It's set in such a great area - for restaraunts, cafes, shopping.. A+ area! It's a very small boutique hotel, which is fine however, there are barely any staff working there. I would say 1 person at the desk who is in charge of everything. Sometimes there's an extra person. Rooms are interesting looking and cute, however there is a huge issue: noise. The room makes...
Very friendly staff. Small but very charming rooms with adorable breakfast room.
How I wish I could give half stars because I would give this hotel a 3 1/2. But since that’s not possible, I bumped it to a 4 because of its perfect location in the Marais. Shopping, bars, restaurants, the Pompidou and the Picasso Museums are all very close. And it was only a 15 minute walk to Notre Dame. Other pluses: air conditioning! A really comfortable bed. Nice toiletries. However, our room...
Amazing hotel in the perfect location. My son and I each had our own rooms, they are small as most are but well equipped, clean, well decorated. My room had a big window opening up to the street. The employees working the front desk were very helpful with everything we needed. I would recommend for solo travelers as I felt very safe. Comfortable beds, with coffee maker, and AC.

We had a nice quiet stay in this hotel. Great location, nice restaurant. Great proximity to everything.
Wonderful staff. They took care of us in every way possible. Location is perfect. Located on a quiet neighborhood surrounded by restaurants, shops, galleries and a 12 minute walk to the Louvre. We will stay here again when we return.

The hotel had a cozy and a homy atmosphere. The staff are very friendly and nice. I recommend this place. Also the location is walking distance to many attractions.
The location is perfect, very close to the Roissy bus and subway stations, and there are lots of Asian restaurants on the street. The reception staff is really nice, very helpful and polite, and the room was cleaned every day. As for the downsides, the rooms are a bit small, and in our room the wardrobe was inconvenient, but overall everything was great!
Stayed 2 nights at the Hotel du Triangle d'Or and enjoyed it. Staff was very friendly and spoke English which was helpful for us. The room was great and had three big windows looking out onto the city street but also black out shades to block out that city light at night. We liked the location and had a great dinner down the road at Le Cristal Vignon as well.
Great convenient location. Not a big hotel, but got everything you need for a short stay.
Great place and reliable staff. The connecting room was really perfect for traveling with a toddler and her grandparents. We really appreciated the fact that we could have used an extra sofa bed in the room for more comfortable stay. The connecting room, although advertised as 30m2 was much bigger, I think it was definitely more like 40-50m2. Highly recommend the place!
Nice location within 15min of walking distance to main attractions. Reception staff was amazing. Rooms were nice and quiet.

Great location and excellent service! Different themes in the rooms, which are richly decorated. A bit lack of storage space in the room and in washing room.

The hotel has a very nice location and the facilities are great. Our room was also extremely clean and comfortable.

I booked this hotel as part of mine and my now fiancées trip to Paris starting Sunday the 2nd of November and finished today on the 5th. The location of this hotel is good, it is convenient to go anywhere, it is next to the Four Seasons Hotel, and you can always see the police at the door, which makes you feel safe. The room is not big, but the hotel service is good. Breakfast is a la carte, not a buffet
Great service and spacious rooms. Our favourite hotel spot in Paris

This time, I booked a plan with breakfast included. In Paris, where prices are high, this was a very welcome plan, and the breakfast itself was wonderful.
Location: PRIME! It's the best location you could ask for with this price range. Easily accessible to majority of the metro/RER lines.
Room: Spacious for Paris standard. Clean and well maintained.
Facilities: Amenities are not provided in the room. You have to request from the lobby.
Nice location, safety area.
Room too small
Cozy little hotel in a good location. One of the two elevators broke down periodically, but there's a large paid parking lot at the train station. The breakfast was very good.
Location is really good and convenient. But I would say the staff there can be quite rigid at times.
I was there with my sister to see a concert at Paris.
We booked this hotel as it's located in the heart of the city.
Location-wise it is very convenient, but the room is super tiny.

The staff is really helpful, the private parking is close to the hotel and there is alot of space, we got an handy cellphone for our stay in Paris which we could use for internet in the city and the bed was Very comfortable!
A warm friendly Hotel in great position, warm room, one is made to feel very welcome and at home, If you want a happy friendly Hotel with personality this is for you, All the members of staff have warm smiles and so willing to make your stay comfortable, it is an old building and that for me adds to the charm and location perfect for those who love to shop and food accessible supermarket very close...
Well located within the city, very convenient and decent size rooms
The hotel is in a good location, it fairly clean, comfortable beds, rooms are small, breakfast is a small bar of hard boiled eggs, cereal, some sandwich style meats, pastries, coffee, fruit and juices. I wasn't feeling very well after a 12 hour flight and they let us check in early for a extra $40 fee which wasn't to my liking but the stay was pleasant and the staff was very helpful.

It’s a small, cozy hotel. The staff is so friendly and helped me organize things I needed to take care of. I have stayed there twice, and look forward to staying there again. The rooms are small, but with the location being in such a fabulous location, it was fine
I would highly recommend to anyone going to Paris. I can’t wait to go back!
Location of the hotel is wonderful, room was clean and comfortable, staff very friendly great value. Definitely could use again and recommend
Good value for being next to the Eiffel Tower. Some down sides, trash in the hallway and no elevator for 5th floor stay. Good exercise, but still needs improvement. Stay here if you can!
Everything was amazing! Clean room, cleaning was every day, in the heart of Paris and Eiffel Tower, small room be ready but for sleep it was more that enough.
I loved the location!
A lot of nice small restaurants all around, not too far away from the metro, and about 5 minutes walk to the Eiffel tower.
We had a small problem with the shower, and the amazing staff helped us in a heartbeat, and gave us a new room where everything was working well.
There wasn't A.C, but we did had a small fan that did the job.

Highly recommended! The spaces are modest but super stylish and obviously designed with care and love. Stayed four nights. Very friendly staff. Lots of stores and restaurants nearby. Great jumping off point to go sightseeing Paris. Metro couple blocks away. Room was clean, small, but comfortable. Took metro to hotel easily. Would definitely stay again. Elevator small, but better than stairs. Quiet, clean, bed wasn't our favorite, but after walking all day, we slept.
Nice and pleasant hotel in a nice area of Paris for a reasonable price. Front desk reception was very kind and helpful. Room was completely fine for our one night stay, with a comfortable bed and a newly refurbished bathroom. We could walk to so many places so easily. We would definitely stay there again.
Nice hotel in a relatively calm part of Paris nearby all sorts of interesting points to visit. Very kind personal at reception and at breakfast.
We loved this place. Great bed and good sleeping. Easy to walk places, get rides or take the metro. Super staff. Stayed three nights.
My trip was disrupted by the strikes, and the hotel showed extraordinary kindness and professionalism in finding a fair resolution. A typical Paris hotel. The downside is that the decoration is too old. This time I saw a bug in the closet. It doesn't look like a cockroach, but it's still a bit disgusting.
The upside is that there is a food street, close to the train station and the subway station, so it's quite convenient to travel.
There are a lot of food and drinks around, and it is very safe. The bus and subway are relatively convenient. The only drawback is that the hotel is average.
The location is more convenient
Although it was far from the center, there were many metro lines and it was a hotel with good access to wherever you were going. The hotel itself was old, but it was well-cleaned and had a clean feeling.
The hotel staff were also kind, and it was a very good trip.
Hotels in Paris are very small. Don't expect a large room size. Just clean it. The hotel is in a good location, safe, and has many choices for dining. It's not too far from the main attractions. Overall, the price/performance ratio is OK for a two-person trip.
The room is not big but well-equipped with everything you need. Every time the customer service cleans the room, they will give us two pieces of delicious chocolate. It is very quiet at night. There are many restaurants nearby and it is not far from the subway. The neighborhood is safe. I highly recommend it.

I must admit I booked this hotel thinking it was in another part of Paris but kept the booking anyway. We had a larger than expected beautiful room with terrace over the courtyard.
