I don't want to sound negative but almost all reviews online have talked about this issue and that is that Hotel de Vigny is an overrated hotel. It's not that I didn't like it but it surely isn't five stars. A well deserved and recommended three stars.

Two minor drawbacks: 1) The carpeting in the rooms, a French tradition, isn't very hygienic. I just got home from a 9 night stay at Hotel Le Mareuil. My stay was wonderful. The location is fantastic within a beautiful neighborhood and close to many metro lines. All of the hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. The room was well equipped with a great view, and the breakfast buffet was a pleasure each morning. I will definitely be back!

The hotel has a great location, everything is within walking distance. The service is decent. On the first day, there were no toothbrushes in the room, so I had to ask at reception. The soundproofing is very poor; you can hear all the street noise at night.

Very good hotel. Very clean, staff very helpful and polite. Good location with being in the middle for travel to champs Elyse and towards the Louvre, approximately 20 min walk. Only issue is that it has a very small gym space, only a bike and step machine which wasn’t working, limited space to do weight workouts.

The hotel is really convenient near to the train. We arrive before the check in time deposited the luggage, the staff assist to transfer our luggage to the room. We stayed as a small group of 5 (2 couples and 1 single traveler) for 2 nights over the weekend. Room was bigger and brighter than expected compared to the photos on the booking page. Bed side had plugs and even USB sockets. Convenient location, about 5 minutes walk from Concorde station. Breakfast spread is the same everyday which is the same as most Europe countries, but the food tasted quite ok.

very good hotel clean, the staff is nice, specifically the Mrs.Asma At the reception and Mrs. Chef Amal. The price is flawed against the size of the rooms as well as the lack of parking, but it provides debit cards for parking near it.

The service from most of the hotel staff is extremely great, especially ASMA and JAMES! ASMA always treats people with a warm smile and attentive service! Her service attitude is impeccable! JAMES went out of his way to help us, even though it was a very small request, he still tried his best to help us fulfil it! He also took the initiative to warmly ask if we wanted tea or coffee as we arrived...

Even though the room is relatively small, you can’t beat the price and the view in 8th district like this hotel! The bed is extremely comfortable, we actually rank the bed 5/5 compared to all of other hotels. The staff is okay but the services they provide are standard so nothing to complain about.
