The Good:
Crisp white bedsheets and clean bathroom.
Very accessibile. 2 minutes walk to public transport, McDonald's or Carrefour.
Receptionist speak English.

The Bad:
My shower door didn't close well, and water seeped out.
Air conditioning is centrally controlled. The room thermostat does nothing.

Wi-Fi speeds of 5.9 MB/s download and 5.2 MB/s upload.

Simple, but perfectly decent. The room was clean, had all the basics, and it’s a good option if you just need something practical without spending too much.

I'd totally not recommend this place. We stayed there for 3 days with breakfasts included and my whole family had diarrhea, not long after the breakfast, every single day.

The breakfast itself is also horrible. One of my children has lactose&gluten intolerance. They only provide cheese, lots of breads and croissants, milk, yogurt and corn flakes and some apples. My child had to end up eating apples and dry corn flakes every single day because no option for at least lactose intolerance was not offered. For the place that claims themselves to be a 2 star hotel this is below the bare minimum.

I have questions concerning the room service either. On the first day my sandwich that I prepared for children got stolen after the cleaning, and on the second day all of my family's toothbrushes and toothpastes got missing for no reason.

Place appeared exactly as pictured, however shower and toilet quite small. Difficulty closing the bathroom door when sitting on the toilet and unable to take dry things into the shower. Would be a good room for a family, a little challenging but still fine for a friend group.

Would not recommend at all. The location is rough, with the only bright side being the McDonald’s across the street. Check in was fine, with a code to access the room. Which was horrible. Dark colours, poor lighting, and “bed” rock hard. I don’t know if the air conditioning was fixed when we went (mid August) but it certainly wasn’t as cool as other Budgets we’ve been in. Breakfast was the worst selection we have seen from the chain. Funny smells around the hotel too. We spent as little time as possible here, as we just wanted to get to our next stop. I guess you do get what you pay for, but I wish we had spent just a little bit more…

Stayed in many a hotel over my many years on this planet, have to this is by far the worst we've stayed in, and I don't say that lightly.
The staff are not friendly at all, it's like you are an inconvenience, we have not had one word of pleasantries from any of them, the hotel is budget by name ,budget by nature, but its not a budget price.
The rooms are small, not got an issue with that, the shower, well I can pea faster than that works.it doesnt stay in one position, the towel was ripped, the sink in the room, near sockets,is just bizarre, the noise from the streets is just ridiculous, even with the windows shut, the air conditioning is a waste of time, doesn't do anything, the room was like a sauna, will definitely not be staying in an ibis budget ever again, I notice a few not very good reviews, and not one has been responded too, that's how much they think off there customers, yet the one person, who gave a good review, has been responded to. A Joke of a hotel, in my opinion.

It's a bit far from Marseille Central Station, but it's a very clean and nice place. There are frequent trains from Central Station to Blancarde Station, so you can get there~~
