Carousel Hotel in Tbilisi

I am currently staying at this hotel until the day after tomorrow, and unfortunately, I need to share my experience. The young man at the reception in the morning shift, who claims to be the hotel manager, is very unfriendly and speaks with arrogance. This does not reflect the kindness of the actual hotel owner, who is very polite. Since guests mainly interact with the receptionist, this behaviour creates a very unpleasant impression.

In addition, the rooms are not well equipped. The bed is not clean, and the sheet is too short and keeps falling off during the night. The room was not cleaned, and when I asked the receptionist for shampoo, he refused to give me one, insisting that the housekeeper had already provided it earlier — which is not true.

On the other hand, I must mention that the young man working at the reception in the evening shift is very polite, respectful, and helpful, which is exactly how a receptionist should be.

Honestly, the room issues would not have mattered much to me if the morning receptionist had been kind and professional. But his unfriendly attitude is the main reason I am writing this review.

Looks like a scam. Bathroom room was damaged. They told me to use force each time to open it, but it wasn’t closing. Service was low, no proper solution provided and they didn’t return my pre-payment. Looks like a scam.

I wouldn't consider it a four star hotel only 2 stars....rooms are very small with bad odor...not clean... breakfast is very moderate no much choices...no room service...we found dirty underwear in our closet....location is good.... receptionists are great...wifi is great....full of insects and Muskitos

So I will be starting when we arrived to the hotel at night after our flight, we were supposed to have our room ready but we wanted 1hour to get our rooms, after that I woke up in the morning with some bits on my shoulder and I’ve already informed the receptionist but they said they will change the bed sheets only, I ask them to change the whole single bed for me as I can’t sleep but they did not, other hotels will offer new room then I was sleeping with long sleeves so to avoid any bits, bathroom has a smell, breakfast is poor and first day my friend found a her with his eggs, I asked them for late check out as my flight is late but they didn’t approve it even though we were waiting for our rooms when we arrived and the manager was rude and when I told him that something is bitting me in the bed he said that your problem you are sick I will upload the bits pictures as proof of that, and yes the night shift receptionist was smelly so bad from the moment of entering the hotel not only one day but was for long time. Alona, chef, waiter and one of the night receptionist were nice people.
