Epic Meidan Hotel in Tbilisi

I have no idea whether the hotel itself is good or not because I never managed to stay there. What I can say, however, is that the management was not cooperative when it came to circumstances beyond my control.

In June, my flight to Georgia was canceled by the airline due to the events at that time and the closure of airspace in several countries. A week before my reservation date, I informed the hotel that I would not be able to arrive. Their response was that they couldn’t assist me in any way, and indeed, they charged me the full amount (I was supposed to stay there for a week). Later, I even received a message from Booking.com asking why I hadn’t shown up, although I had already informed the hotel beforehand that I couldn’t make it, for reasons completely out of my control.

Yes, I understand this is within their rights according to the refund policy, but I had hoped they would show a bit more kindness and cooperation. By contrast, I had a reservation at a hotel in Batumi where my flight was canceled only a few hours before departure, and yet the hotel was very understanding and didn’t charge me anything.

My plan was to spend one week in Batumi and one week in Tbilisi, but in the end, I paid for the Tbilisi hotel without ever stepping foot in the country. I cannot comment on the cleanliness of the rooms or the location—I just wanted to share this experience.

The Room Dirty like hell where we see reptile on the broken bed & they make storage under the bed
The sound proof is crazy zero privacy
The hotel greedy like hell… no water no tea no coffee.
We book 2 nights but we left after spending just 10 hrs in that weird hotel
