Lions Avlabari Hotel in Tbilisi

The hotel is conveniently located a 3-minute walk from Ablavari Station, which is a hub for metro and bus routes. Nearby are a Carrefour supermarket, a bank, and a currency exchange. The hotel is also close to the old town, making it easy to explore.

However, the staff barely speak English. The reception desk is often unattended, which can be a bit inconvenient when you need something.

The room had a refrigerator and a hot water kettle, and the bed was clean and comfortable. However, there were no amenities, so I recommend bringing your own.

The hot shower took a while to heat up, but it was comfortable.

There were plenty of outlets (Type C), making it convenient for charging devices.

However, the air conditioning was slightly ineffective, making it a bit cold in the mornings and evenings. (Also, there was no remote control, so I had to ask a staff member to bring one from another room...)

+ Location was good. Just around the corner of the old city, a cableway to the ruined castle on a mountain, cafes and other sightseeing places.
- Despite the first part of September and plus 30 on the street it was pretty cold in the room. Ground floor in a shadow, all buildings are staying very closely each other and people often moving next to your window – you should use curtain all the time. The lightness in the room was awful. It's hard to shave in the bathroom by this reason. You really can't use wi-fi, it's very slow and has a bad connection. No hair dryer, 1 lari for a bottle of water in the hall:)
