Old Meidan Tbilisi By Urban Hotels in Tbilisi

My stay was great and I have enjoyed it, regardless of the very modest price of accommodation. Location in the old city and the view were above any expectations, the personnel was the most welcoming and friendly I have met in Tbilisi - always greeting you with a smile and helpful - which is generally difficult to experience too often in Tbilisi. For the price my room was good and comfortable, I was surprised to discover German brands Grohe and Roto Frank to be presented in my budget room. There was an air conditioning, kettle with selection of tea and coffee, daily refreshed water and small fridge. The cleaning was good and the I cannot also complain about the breakfast, which was much better than could be expected given the price of accommodation and actually tasted good. Many thanks to the hotel team and management for this beautiful experience and attitude.

I had a very pleasant stay at Old Meidan Tbilisi By Urban Hotels from February 27 to March 2.

The location is truly 10 out of 10 right in the heart of the Old Town and within easy walking distance of all the main attractions, restaurants, and beautiful streets of Tbilisi. It was incredibly convenient for exploring the city.

The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. We especially appreciated that the hotel kindly prepared a packed breakfast for us as we had to check out very early in the morning — a thoughtful gesture that made a big difference.

The room was comfortable and clean. Amenities were generally good, although they could be improved slightly — on one day, the shower water was not hot enough. Aside from that, everything was satisfactory.

Overall, it was a good experience, mainly thanks to the unbeatable location and considerate service. I would happily stay here again.

Overall, our experience at this hotel was positive. Its main advantage is its excellent location.
As for the room, it matches the photo on the website. The furniture is a bit worn, but that's not a deal-breaker. There was a safe in the room, but we didn't use it, and there was no refrigerator, which we would have needed. We ended up putting our groceries outside on the windowsill, fortunately the weather was nice. There's a hairdryer in the bathroom, but it's very weak, overheating, and shutting off. There's a TV in the room, but the remote didn't work. There are three hangers and zero additional hooks for two people, which is clearly not enough for our outerwear. We were unpleasantly surprised by the terribly dirty carpet (but I understand this is a hotel-wide issue, not a specific room issue). We also noticed dirty stains on the bed linens and curtains. Still, it's not very pleasant to see. The pillows are uncomfortable, low, and flimsy, with a noticeable clumping of the filling; they should have been replaced long ago. The blanket was small, barely enough for two people who don't sleep cuddled together. But we were lucky with the view from the room.
As for housekeeping, they changed towels and soap/shower gels every day, replenished toilet paper, water, tea, and coffee.
The breakfasts were good, tasty, and quite varied.
We had a bottle of wine, but no corkscrew. The guys at reception kindly helped us with that.

Great location, lots of interesting places within walking distance. Friendly staff at reception and in the dining room. The room has a kettle, water, tea, and coffee. Delicious breakfasts. The carpet in the room was very dirty.

Overall, a good experience.

Cleanliness: Cleanliness was fine, but the cleaning lady was quite noisy in the hallway in the mornings, disturbing my sleep.

Environment: A 15-20 minute walk to Holy Trinity Cathedral and Liberty Square; very close to the equestrian statue, within a 10-minute walk.

Service: Breakfast was decent, offering pasta or fried rice.

Facilities: The only drawback was a slightly damaged curtain.

The hotel is located in the center of Meidan Bazar and Europa Square, near many tourist attractions, including the cabin car to see Mother of Georgia, about 10 minutes walk from Liberty Square, you can walk to visit everywhere.

The room view is very beautiful. Our room has a view of the church on the Fort side, but there is another room with a view of Meidan Bazar and the bridge and the riverside next to the church.

Breakfast is general, sausage, fried eggs, bread, bakery, coffee, but it's delicious. Another advantage is that breakfast is open from 8-11 am.

It’s good because of location otherwise it’s okay hotel. Don’t expect as mentioned by others and past reviews.
