Reviews
We stayed for three nights with our three young children, and from the moment we arrived it was clear that families are not particularly welcome. At 9:30 a.m., while our children were quietly enjoying the pool, a member of staff approached us and told them to be quiet because there were guest rooms overlooking the pool. Being reprimanded for normal children’s behavior in the morning at a family hotel is completely unreasonable and left us feeling unwelcome for the rest of our stay.
The room itself had several serious issues. It was located directly beside the elevator, and the elevator doors slammed loudly day and night, repeatedly waking our children and making it difficult to get a good night’s sleep. In addition, there was a persistent, unpleasant sewage smell coming from the bathroom throughout our stay.
The pool area was also a major concern. The flooring around the pool was extremely slippery, causing our children to slip and fall multiple times. This is a clear safety hazard that should be addressed immediately.
Between the unfriendly attitude of the staff, the excessive noise, the unpleasant odor, and the unsafe pool area, this was one of the worst hotel experiences we have had as a family. We cannot recommend this hotel to anyone traveling with children and would strongly advise families to choose a hotel that genuinely welcomes and accommodates them.
After washing my hair, it was left with a very strong musty, moldy smell that would not go away. I suspect it may have been related to the chemicals used to treat the pool water, as this has never happened to me before. I had to wash my hair four times, and although the smell has almost disappeared, I can still notice it. My swimsuit also still smells strongly of damp, moldy basement.
This was really shocking and disappointing, and unfortunately it has made me reluctant to visit this pool again. Aside from this experience, I have always considered it a lovely place, which is why this was especially upsetting.
On Booking.com, the price shown was quite reasonable, but the hotel offered me a higher rate directly. I sent them screenshots showing that the prices on Booking.com were lower and explained that we preferred to book through the platform. They replied that they would check the prices and get back to me.
Instead, they changed the prices on Booking.com and then claimed that the prices shown in our screenshots, which were taken just a day earlier, “came from nowhere.” In other words, they raised the prices to earn more money and denied having done so.
I will never deal with this hotel again and do not recommend it to anyone.
Nice design inside, the rooftop pool is great, on the mountain side.
The staff was nice, helpfull.
The only bad point is the bad smell in the bathroom, morning time.
Otherwise, we spent 3 nice days there. I recommend this place
Pro’s: Rooftop Pool, cleanliness of room, cleaning staff.
Con’s: bad smell of drains constantly, safe not working, small bedrooms - listed as having a balcony when you couldn’t step out onto it. Broken safe, no guidance on check in re local information or breakfast etc. Very bad lightning in corridor, you can barely see and stairs up to rooms pretty unsafe because of this.
No service at the rooftop pool, and breakfast was odd- some days a small buffet (with hardly anywhere to sit) other days it was to order, but no menu. Putting 5 set options on a menu would help them.
