Vera 2 in Tbilisi

I recently stayed at Hotel Vera View, and had a very unpleasant experience. The building is run down, difficult to find, and the facilities are misleading compared to the pictures online. The so-called kitchen was not a real kitchen, and there were permanent residents on the same floor, making it feel more like a hostel than a hotel. Service was poor, as even a simple request for batteries for the TV remote was ignored. The owner also runs a taxi service that charged double the normal rate and was always late. Overall, the stay was uncomfortable and disappointing. I would not recommend this place to anyone seeking a decent or reliable stay.

Title: Horrible Experience – Not a Real Hotel!

This is not a hotel at all, it is more like a scary old apartment in a torn-down building. To enter, you have to use several codes just to get inside, which feels more like entering a dungeon than a place to stay. The whole place is dark, unsafe, and nothing like the pictures online.

The building is very old and frightening, and the atmosphere is unsafe. Most of the people staying there seemed to be long-term residents or refugees, not real guests. It was dirty, with no proper staff available, and absolutely no feeling of comfort or hospitality.

When we asked for basic things like a bathroom, there was no help. Nobody was there to assist us. The rooms are not clean, the building smells bad, and it’s nothing close to what a “hotel” should be.

I honestly felt scared staying here. This place should not be advertised as a hotel. I would never recommend it to anyone. Stay away if you want a safe, clean, and real hotel experience in Tbilisi!

AVOID IT AT ANY COST! This is a “shadow” non-existent hotel. IT IS A SCAM and the administration staff are charlatans. They texted me on my arrival day while I was boarding the plane to Tbilisi asking if I would agree to switch my one-bedroom apartment to a studio for a few days. Not suspecting anything at that time I agreed thinking that we are talking about the same hotel. For me the location was important. Upon arrival there was just a destroyed building and they were not responding my phone calls. After a while, they responded and offered a new hotel, a few kms away, saying that this hotel was overbooked to which I objected saying that there was not hotel at all and no one could live in that destroyed building. They basically were insisting that I accept their new offer for the same price telling me that by arguing I was not going to solve my situation. Even worse - they were asking me why I was insisting on the initial hotel and why did I need that specific location - which is non of their business! I have cancelled the booking and rejected their so called “better” offer as it was clear that these are just a bunch of thieves and charlatans! So you can draw the conclusion yourself if you want to book this shadow hotel.

We spent two nights there, it was one of the worst experiences we had.. we received the wrong room, the bed was broken, and to top it all there was no hot water!!
After waiting for two hours for them to fix it, we fell asleep, we asked not to woken up as our flight was at 4 am. the reception non the less banged aggressively at our door at 1 am to tell us that they fixed it. No common sense what so ever.

Aweful experience, we spent two nights. We booked a double bed and received twin beds. The room had a tiny window blocked by a tree. One of the beds was broken.. and the top was our last night when there was no hot water.. we waited for two hours with no result.. finally we fel sleep only for the lady to wake us up at 1 am to tell us there is hot water.. really just so bad!
