I used to stay here a few years ago and so impressed with everything. Thus, I came back again. The hotel's location is really good, bc it's close to the Neuschwanstein castle and also next to the Alpsee lake. The hotel is very nice and cozy. The room space is very comfy too.

The hotel is classy and elegant, and the location is amazing. It was a very short trip, but waking up in the morning with the view of the lake and the Alps it was beautiful and relaxing. A luxurious resort that offers top-level comfort. The staff are very helpful, and the breakfast selection is excellent. The hotel is located in a small hamlet between Neuschwanstein castle and Hohenschwangau castle (10 mins walk up hill) . You can hike up to Neuschwanstein takes about 40 mins or take a bus ride up , 5 mins

Very nice indeed. I was quite hungry after being at the Neuchwanstein castle so me and a few of the people I was with found this Restaurant. The turkey in a cream sauce with some rice was beautiful the best meal I have had so far on this holiday. Then to have a look through the ice cream menu was just ridiculous. This is THE HOTEL to stay at if you want stunning views of Neuschwanstein Castle. The entire town of Hohenschwangau and both castles are easily walkable. All restaurants etc. just a perfect hotel in a perfect location!

We liked our stay in here mainly thanks to proximity to castles and Fussen by walking distance. Room was cozy and clean, bfast very good as well.

We didn't stay here but I would assume its excellent 👌 as well. We did have dinner here after our trip to Hohenschwangau Castle. The service was great and friendly and many locals visit its restaurant from what we witnessed. The food was excellent 👌 and portions are large and reasonably priced. The beers 🍻... oh so good 👍 😋. The hotel was close to the castles and to Fussen for dinner and drinks at night. The room was clean and accommodating, but the manager was a tad rude. When we first walked in he would not even acknowledge our presence, but then some German's came in and he seemed to warm up a bit.

Stayed here September 2017. Klaus the owner is awesome. Great sense of humor, he was shocked that we had 3 Siberian huskies! The location is pretty much unbeatable, you are right down the road from the castles and can see them on a beautiful short walk from the inn.

This lovely hotel is centrally located near Hohenschwangau and Neuschwanstein castles. Convenient to a grocery store and Fussen. The service here is amazing and the breakfast buffet offers many options. Be sure to checkout the restaurant!

Very nice hotel in the small town of Schwangau. Very friendly staff. If you arrive by bus, there is a bus stop just across the street. My only complaint is, since there is no air conditioning (normal for Europe) I slept with the windows open and I could here patrons at the small Italian restaurant across the street on their patio as late as 02:00 (2:00am)

This hotel is nice and quiet, but in the perfect location! Not only did we get a room with a view of Neuschwanstein, but the beds were immensely comfortable and the bathroom was spacious. Plus, there's a couple restaurants, a grocery store, and a bakery all within walking distance. There was ample parking as well. A perfect stay for families.

This is a restaurant and hotel all in one. The restaurant on the first floor, and the guest rooms upstairs. There are free parking spaces, but there are not many parking spaces (but I don’t know if the parking spaces across the road belong to it), and it should be first come, first served. There is a pretty good supermarket about 100 meters away. It is very close to the Neuschwanstein Castle attraction...

This was one of our favorite hotels on our European trip. Just what we wanted for German style and ambience. Our second stay at Rübezahl. The atmosphere, the attention to detail, the staff, the food and the spa were excellent the first time. This time they were even better! The views of, and the walking in, the foothills of the Alps are tremendous. A wonderful, relaxing stay - we will return.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Helmer Hotel. The location, in the quiet pastoral Bavarian village of Schwangua, is a 5 minute drive to the castles. The staff are very helpful and welcoming. and the food at breakfast and dinner was delicious. We highly recommend staying at the Helmer Hotel.

Our 2nd stay in this very nice hotel in beautiful surroundings. A good place for hiking in the mountains and use og free bikes (very good idea) to bike around Schwangau and Füssen. An El-kettel in the room would be a nice to have for a couple of tea after a long hike in the mountains.

The Hotal has the family owned and operated charm and attention to detail that make is absolutely wonderful and unique. The view from our balcony of the mountains as village area is spectacular. The area has many great paved walking paths through the beautiful rural area to the cable car and castle area.

Great boutique hotel located mere minutes from Neuschwanstein Castle. Super clean room on the 3rd floor with great views of the castle at night time. A little warm as the room does not have air conditioning (not unusual for Germany). Fans wer in the room. Breakfast was truly an artform with fantastic service.

Nice hotel in the very centre of Füssen. I spent a couple of nights there with a friend. The Windsor room is nice but I would only recommend for a short as it is quite small. The common areas were nice and clean. The staff was very helpful.

The self-catering hostel was basically clean, but had fewer rooms than I expected. Unless something unexpected happens, I probably won't stay there again.

The environment is good, and it's close to the city center. There's no free parking, it costs 12 euros + 6 euros. Breakfast is 18 euros. Not worth it.

Location is perfect, within 5min walking distance to their old town and market square, 10-15min drive to Neuschwanstein Castle (parking area). The room is clean. The staff is friendly and helpful. They provide onsite parking, need check in first, get the keycard to open the garrage gate.

The hotel restaurant offers a wide variety of breakfast options, but it often hosts tour groups, so it can get crowded in the mornings. The rooms are compact but well-equipped and clean. Lovely hotel in the centre of town. Offers parking at back for vehicles making it a great base for exploring. No elevators so if room higher than ground floor it's a trek with baggage. The breakfast here is amazing, buffet with everything you desire. Staff friendly and helpful. Recommended

I was able to stay there without any inconveniences. They were flexible with check-in times and even accommodated me late. The location is also great, it's only a 10-minute walk so there's no need to worry about getting lost. However, there doesn't seem to be an elevator, so it might be difficult if you have a lot of luggage.

Everything is perfect, breakfast and dinner are exceptionally good. Best value for money. My son said we will definitely back for the next winter experience again.

The place is hard to find. There is a restaurant downstairs. The food is delicious. The room is a bit old, but very clean. There is no elevator, so you have to carry your luggage upstairs by yourself. Check-in is very convenient and the service attitude is OK.

It was all just perfect. I had a wonderful room, the Service was great and every meal just delicious. The Spa area is just great and the massages very relaxing.

Our family of four had a great stay here. Our suite had a private patio, two rooms, two bathrooms, and was very comfortable. The breakfast was fantastic. Parking is limited unfortunately. But the location was unbeatable, right in the heart of Füssen, with easy access to all the sights and delicacies in old town. Walking trails to the nearby waterfall are also very accessible. We rented the wine cellar for our large group and everything was incredible! The food was amazing- service impeccable and the chef even came to say hi to us! I cannot recommend this place enough for large groups :)

This is a great stay, enough bed space for family of 4 person. The room are warm during the night and bath room as well. We enjoyed the bath tub after a full day activity. The parking is great at this hotel, convenient and relatively good price. The old town tourist street is right in front of the hotel. Overall a great stay.

Great location , walking distance to old town. Car parking v v v v narrow ! Very challenging! It’s for mini car !!!!

The breakfast was very rich. It's very close to Neuschwanstein Castle. The room specifications and service are relatively good in the small town of Fussen. Except that the parking lot is relatively small, you can only park in the public parking lot without reservation (the hotel still gives a discount for the parking fee). I am very satisfied with all aspects.
