The room was really nice. It was the best hotel we stayed in Europe. The location, facilities and service were excellent, as was the delicious breakfast. Sitting in the restaurant you can see the beautiful Neuschwanstein Castle. It is really worth recommending.

We wrote an email direct to the hotel & asked for a room with a direct view to the Neuschwanstein Castle. The hotel has upgraded us to the best room with a direct view to the castle, it was a suite! It’s definitely the best room available.
The Reception Lady is very friendly and helpful.
However the room amenities are very poor except liquid bath soap no others are provided ( no shampoo, no body cream, no shower caps etc ).
We received welcome drinks vouchers but it can only be redeemed between 18:00 - 20:00, no soft drinks, no coffee, no beers! I assume, it’s a pitfall so the guests would have dinner at the same time.

The hotel's location is a slam dunk. Hohenschwangau Castle is directly in front of you, and Neuschwanstein Castle is visible behind you. From the window, you can see the carriages heading down to Hohenschwangau Castle. The Alpine lake is just a short walk away.
It's a very old hotel, but it has an elevator and a shower. While there's no air conditioning, there are fans. Sleeping with the window open in Germany can be quite cold. The hotel itself is very comfortable, and the breakfast was well-prepared. It's a small selection, consisting of small slices of meat. Although the staff aren't native German, they were very welcoming.
If you're traveling with children, be sure to contact the hotel in advance to confirm your room information; otherwise, the front desk staff will be very surprised.

The location is very good. It is a must-go to Old Swan Castle and Neuschwanstein Castle. It is very convenient. The hotel is friendly to drivers because it has its own parking lot. Parking is free. This is the only hotel with free parking among all the hotels I have visited. The hotel should be an old building. It looks charming. The room facilities are relatively old, but the bed is very comfortable and clean. There is also a restaurant in the hotel, but we went there in the off-season, so there were not many tourists. In addition, there were probably not many people staying in Neuschwanstein Castle at night, so it was not very lively here at night and people got off work early. Breakfast was in a glass room with a view of Neuschwanstein Castle, which was a very good experience.
