We stayed at the Kräuterhof for one night during a multi-day hiking trip and loved it!

We had overall good experiences during the trip, especially regarding friendliness and supportiveness, but the Kräuterhof was exceptional in terms of comfort of the rooms, the dinner options in the restaurant, but most of all the price for what we got!

Thanks for the very nice service and we‘re planning to be back. 😊

We stayed for 3 nights. Friendly staff in the restaurant. Everything worked and the apartments are spacious and so cozy. Very baby friendly!
Although a bit of noise at night from other guests.
Overall great stay with a nice location.

Part of coach tour. Room clean and spacious. NO tea/coffee facilities. NO aircon. NO charging points. NO main room lights, just 3 lamps. TV remote sticky. Staff very friendly but hard to communicate with, they really don't understand English fully. Food edible in the main no after dinner coffee unless you pay for it. 5 euros glass sprite from 2litr open bottle. This could be great but feels substandard and penny pinching

While returning from Wernigerode we stopped at their restaurant. Very pathetic service. Quality of food is worst. They did't know how to serve even a glass of beer. I made them change first two glasses of beer after seeing dirt or unusual sediments in it. Interestingly they also didn't know what it was ☺️. Unfriendly/not well trained staff. Worst schnitzel and Sauerfleisch I have ever had in Germany. Kids have a place to spend time on. That was the only positive finding. Finally decided to give them some tipp even though the service was overall bad. Then they wanted the tipp in cash and did not want to be included in the main bill. Whatever ! After the card payment no copy for myself. Seemed their machine failed. On asking they started with an aggressive behavior. What the hell !! Very unprofessional. Finally parking fee of 5 Euros. 😬😬😬

Please avoid this restaurant attached to this hotel. You can definitely find better restaurants if you can drive few more kilometers. Never again !!!😡😡

We arrived just after 2pm when they had just closed . Very kindly opened up for us to have coffee and cake. Very good selection of cakes all five of us enjoyed our cakes. Excellent service
