5 star hotels in Germany

Facility, service and breakfast were exceptionally good. The only reservations I have are on the check-in and spa time. Checkin is at 1600 which is the latest in the hotels I have been, and spa too. We actually came for the spa and it is pity that on the date of arrival that you cannot use the spa until after you check-in, which is already 1630ish.

Very good breakfast, great location, and superb mattresses. Unfortunately, the bathroom is much too small for a 5-star hotel. There's little counter space on the small sink, the bathroom door rattled, and the water flow from the shower and sink jets isn't strong enough to get the shampoo out of your hair. A shame.

This was our second visit, we had a voucher to redeem, and overall it was a pleasant stay. The wellness area was great, the food was not bad, and staff were friendly throughout. Had a very comfortable stay here at the grand. The buffet breakfast was up with the best we have had around the world. Extraordinary buildings renovated in a lovely way to fulfill the five star feeling of the hotel (this really old stone and brick castle). Fireplaces with live fires going in the evenings are cosy. Great hotel, and will stay there gain when in Frankfurt. Loved the room; great breakfast; staff was very friendly and helpful. Also, they have heated floors in the bathroom, which is very nice in the winter! This is a 5 star hotel, and you will enjoy both the location and atmosphere.

A brief return stay in one of the hotel's opera suites. The room still remains one of the better ones but sadly showed considerable wear and tear. Furniture scratched throughout, veneer peeling and TV cabinet wouldn't stay open. Some more maintenance and it could be back to its initial state in no time. The hotel has a great location, clean rooms, and five-star standards. The staff are friendly and efficient. The food is also excellent and highly recommended. The only inconvenience of this stay was that the hotel's underground parking garage was difficult to find, which took some effort.
