Great location for train station, Opera house and shops and restaurants. Beautiful reception area with fresh flowers and plants throughout. The staff were delightful, and the bar was cosy and intimate with charming bar staff.

To be honest - the best place to stay in Düsseldorf. Especially if you have a small family and you are looking for a luxury accommodation directly in the city center. The service is fantastic and the rooms are spacious!

The Wellem is a very beautiful historic hotel. The rooms are very clean and beautiful. The valet parking is very pleasant, and the bellboy was very accommodating. We did have one minor issue, though. We went to breakfast with our nine-month-old baby at 10:15 a.m., which was served until 11:00 a.m. Unfortunately, the buffet was almost empty. You could still order a la carte, but it took almost 30 minutes...

Facility, service and breakfast were exceptionally good. The only reservations I have are on the check-in and spa time. Checkin is at 1600 which is the latest in the hotels I have been, and spa too. We actually came for the spa and it is pity that on the date of arrival that you cannot use the spa until after you check-in, which is already 1630ish.

This is a gorgeous hotel in an idyllic location. The spa and pool are lovely and the breakfast is outstanding. This was our second visit (the fact we chose to spend our 30th anniversary here shows how much we enjoyed it last time) and it won’t be our last.

Be aware that some of the deluxe rooms do not have outside space. I was vey disappointed to find that my room did not have a balcony to enjoy the lake view despite paying the same (high price) as other rooms in this category that did have outdoor space. We stayed at three different Hyatt hotels during our trip in Mainz and Frankfurt, and while all of them were very good, the best one of our journey was Brunfels. The service was excellent — the receptionist was always helpful and greeted us warmly each time. Our room came with a balcony, which made the stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommended!

The hotel was very clean, the parking was convenient, and the bed and bedding were excellent. However, the towels were a bit yellow and stiff, and were not as good as the condition of everything else. I was satisfied with everything else.

A fourty year ambition was achieved by staying at the Nassauer Hof. Whilst they’re clearly winding down a bit before the huge refurb, we had the best stay - gorgeous hotel, great room, charming personnel and the location is perfect. Top location. Hotel is beautiful. Rooms are below standard. Seemed like a 3-star hotel, metal sink, old tv and bed, small duvet. Breakfast had a line, which we never had before. Not really good for a leading hotel of the world, the worst one we’ve been to in a while. The room servixe is 7 euros extra, which is also not common in a leading hotel.

The Mandarin Oriental never disappoints, and its service is particularly outstanding. We had a very nice stay at this hotel. The standard rooms are fine and very clean. The lobby bar was cozy with a nice fireplace, quite areas with nice furniture and fair bar prices. The breakfast was excellent, and the half board dinner was delicious and fair priced. The wellness area was just perfect, small but with a good variety of saunas.

The staff is very friendly albeit sometimes a bit confused and not everyone speaks English. The facilities is however very nice with big rooms, cozy spa and a very nice lobby. We stayed over New Year’s Eve and was very happy during the stay. The spot gets one star less just because I half of the hotel has a view of the parking spot. Great Experience I liked the place. They take their business really serious. A bit old fashioned and that makes the charm of this hotel. When I arrived on a late Sunday afternoon, the manager on duty insisted to personally show me around and to explain all the features of the hotel to me. I stayed for three days and had a great time. The restaurant is a bit pricey but offers excellent food.
