All the staff were incredibly kind and professional. The room was spotless and quiet in a very lively neighborhood – quite rare and worth mentioning.

Our ninth time in the Medici. Room 206 this time. Perfect location. Super comfortable Bed. Great shower. Efficient service. Significant improvement on our eighth Stay in 2024 which was shockingly bad. So bad that our last three visits to Dusseldorf we stayed in different hotels. We thought we'd give the Medici another chance and were pleasantly surprised that it is back to it's delightful best.

My stay was extremely disappointing. On the morning of July 1st, the front desk clerk, a woman wearing a headband, provided inconsistent and unclear information, causing unnecessary inconvenience and acting like a scammer!

I hosted a two day event in June 2025 at Living Hotel De Medici Dusseldorf and could not have be more pleased with my choice. The hotel was beautiful, unique, and in an amazing location; it felt secluded and private, yet was close to attractive walking locations. The art and interior of the hotel made for a stunning welcome for our guests. The event planning team was second to none in communication, support, and attentiveness. Michiel and Marvin were absolutely amazing to work with; anything I needed was seen to promptly and in a very personable manner (They both deserve a raise).The catering for our event was remarked on by several of our attendees as being far superior to any of their expectations. I felt that the hotel and the staff made our event a huge success. I will look forward to hosting future events at this and other Living Hotel properties.

I chose your hotel for the carnival period, after a recommendation from close friends and reading excellent reviews online and on the Booking.com website. The room and equipment were of a high standard, with maximum comfort and in excellent condition. The room is large, clean and bright. The bed is incredibly comfortable. Beyond all this, the staff is cooperative with all requests, very polite and gives the utmost and personal respect to each guest. I will never forget my vacation and stay at your hotel. Of course, I will recommend your hotel from the bottom of my heart to all my friends who are planning a vacation in the wonderful city of Düsseldorf. This is an amazing hotel. It’s like staying in a wonderful museum that oozes history, yet that has all the modern comforts you could ask for. The staff is super friendly and accommodating. The breakfast is exceptional and the service staff goes above and beyond. The location in the city center is perfect. Don’t miss the opportunity to walk the halls in each level of the hotel to take in all the artwork and historical detail on the Jesuits and Medici. Highly recommended for your next stay in Dusseldorf!

Living Hotel De Medici is hands down one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at, and I will always come back! From start to finish, everything about our experience was exceptional. The staff went above and beyond, providing incredible family-friendly amenities like a diaper genie, baby toiletries, toys, and a pack-and-play.
The rooms are stunning—beautifully designed, spotlessly clean, and so comfortable. Despite being close to the bustling Altstadt, the hotel was remarkably quiet, and our jet-lagged toddler managed to nap for three peaceful hours. The heated bathroom floors and blackout curtains were such thoughtful touches that made our stay even more luxurious.
What truly made this visit magical was the holiday ambiance. The lobby was breathtaking, with a giant, beautifully decorated Christmas tree, a cozy fire crackling in the fireplace, and delicious Christmas cookies that added a festive touch. It felt like stepping into a winter wonderland!
