Edit to add: We did discover by chance that getting room service is opt-in, i.e., you have to hang the door sign by 10 am to ask for your room to be serviced with new bedding and towels. We were fine with this, but for our 88-year-old mother, this was a shock and disappointment!
Pretty annoying when something that should take 2 min takes around 15.
On top I got billed breakfast despite NOT wanting to have breakfast (was around 20 EUR per person).
I wrote the hotel staff that I did not use the breakfast and also did not reserve one. They just replied that they can not remove it from the bill and that I should instantly pay as they usually let customers pay on site.
I could not pay on site because nobody was at the reception and nobody reaction to my ringing the bell.
So I ended up paying for breakfast for two people that I did not order/want and not use... that is really unprofessional and gets the hotel as expensive as the one above the street "best western hotel" so I do not see a point in not going there instead the next time.
Pool and saunas were open. The pool is on the smaller side but is a nice temperature. There are a couple of interesting and nice resting areas near the pool (3 swings and 2 circular wall cutouts(?).
Restaurant was good. Servers were pleasant, food took quite a while (40 minutes) but was very good! There are only 3 items to choose from on the menu though. Compliments to the chef! Price was good. 19€ for an awesome dinner and dessert.
So, I recommend this hotel and restaurant.
