Absolutely amazingly accomodating staff, we accidentally booked for the week before our flights, the day after we were booked to arrive we rang up, they had waited for us the day before, but changed our dates free of charge! They provide us with an extra bed when we asked two nice rooms in a suit! Great breakfast, and restaurant attached.
Everyone is supper nice in this hostal, we came here to spend our first Bayerischen Christmas and we really enjoyed the experience. The food and breakfast is good and everything is fresh, the prices are more than adequate, considering this is Bayern and near the Alps. The accomodations are good, the place has been recently renewed and everything looks new.
The hostal is located near the train station and about 15 minutes on foot from the nearest elevation to Sudelfeld. It has a dedicated room for storing ski and snowboard equipment, with nice new boot dryers, We recommend this place for a nice getaway from the city and to enjoy the snow and the Alps hikes in summer.

I went for a dinner with friends. The food itself is a bit better than ever age local Bavarian cuisine. Service however was not good – the waiter was very transactional and immediately left the table in the middle of the round ordering and so half of the table could not place the order. This happened several times. Also, the whole place smells like fatty dripping and all of your cloth will smell the same after spending some time there.
Excellent hotel, superb rooms. Small little village ideal to forget the world around. Nice place for sky in winter or trekking in summer.
