Quaint, clean hotel near the center of Harching. Easy public transportation to Munich.

To my point of view the best hôtel in Garching. The staff is so friendly and helpful !!! Room are beautiful, quiet and very well isolated. Wifi is fast. Breakfast is perfect.

I stayed here for almost a week while at a conference. The rooms are larger than I've had in many places in Europe and comfortable. There is much wood and the rooms and hotel are quite pretty. The staff are helpful and friendly. I speak only very basic German and had no trouble communicating in English with everyone I interacted with. There is a very good breakfast available at some room rates. Next time I am in Garching I will stay here as I was very happy with the accommodations.

Excellent hotel in Garching. Staff are amazing. Place is warm (because of the heat system and the people!). It is very close to Sbahn, and there are some places around to have lunch/dinner. The breakfast is a very complete buffet! Recommended!!!

I have stayed at Hotel Hoyacker Hof twice, once in 2011 and again in 2017, while in town for business. It's a very pleasant hotel and the room I had each time was well furnished, clean and functional, with a comfortable bed and large closet.

The room I had this time looked out over a courtyard (and nearby apartments), and it was fun to watch what was going on. The only problem I had was that the rooms have no air conditioning (as is common in northern Europe) and it was very hot during the day. If I opened the window, lights and noise from outside made it difficult to sleep. I may need to start traveling with a small fan as I am encountering this more and more.

The (optionally?) included breakfast is wonderful, though very European in character. There are many good restaurants around, including a Greek one just in front. It's just a few minutes walk to the train station, and about a 20-minute walk to LRZ (Leibniz Research Center, where my meeting was held.)
