This hotel is serviceable, but in need of some updates. The location is great, very central to the wonderful sites of Augsburg. We were placed in the only room on the ground floor, which was rather unpleasant because our windows faced a courtyard where all guests entered after the main hotel doors shut at 8pm. The door to the courtyard is a very heavy wooden door, so each guest that came back to the hotel after the main doors shut would need to slam it to get it to shut, followed by a motion activated flood light in the courtyard, followed by entering through another door into the building itself that was right next to our room door. So, a lot of noise/activity while we tried to sleep. There were a lot of stains in our toilet as well. Perhaps rooms on the other floors are better, but there seems to be quite a few hotels in Augsburg, and I would recommend looking for other lodging.

I was booked in and didn’t realize the reception is unmanned after 8pm. Calling the number in the door for after hours as per the note on the door - was unanswered. Luckily found another much nicer hotel in the area which was open and had availabiloty. PS Looked a bit dodgy from the outside. So worked out for me.

This was a wonderful place to stay. The hotel is on a beautiful little street just steps from the very grand Maximilianstrasse--easy walk to the center of everything, the grandeur of the city hall and shopping district, yet very peaceful and quiet. Staff is very friendly and helpful, the breakfast is generous and excellent.

It’s a very nice place, and if you are looking for cheap prices, it’s the perfect one. Great and comfy rooms, kind service in the morning and superb location in the middle of the city. If you don’t have hundreds of euros, I absolutely recommend.

Maybe a little dated, but quirky and clean! The staff was super friendly! The breakfast room was full so we needed to move to another room. Three people were carrying our plates, food and stuff over and helped to set us up. Great location!

Clean and warm hotel but nothing more. There is a wifi in the lobby but no signal in the rooms. Good for price.

Augsburg is a wonderful city, but this hotel was a nightmare. The female manager of the hotel was very aggressive, after we informed her about the previous night's noise and behaviour of a drunk hotel guest shouting at our child. When the manager was informed about the incident, she shouted loud at my wife and physically pushed her in front of our child. Being asked to stop this behaviour, she practically "kicked" us out on the street with the children in the rainy weather, just because we asked her for a discount for the previous night. Please avoid this "horrible" place.

Old, classic-style hotel, only to aficionados of the type. Extremely noisy (old wood windows and floors), curtains were almost see-through (plenty of light inside at 6 a.m., in July), not that clean. Bed was ok, breakfast was very poor for modern standards. People speak good English and are friendly. Parking places (paid) on the street very hard to get. The best feature, by far, is it's central location, unless you go there in work and the office is on the industrial sites, as it was my case - I lost a lot of time in traffic to get there and back. Way too much expensive for what you get.
