If you want to make friends with fleas stay here!! On my first night i noticed the room next to me had a plastic covering sealing the door. Didnt think much of it but as the 3rd day of my business stay came i noticed a couple of bites on my arm. As another couple of days went by i was bitten from head to toe and more and more room doors began to be sealed. Spoke to reception asking for a room clean, this did not happen, reported again and then was told they could not enter my room so i was moved further down the corridoor for my last 2 nights, this hotel has a flea infestation, no appologies, just lots of sealed doors with digital thermomaters outside to heat rooms to 60 degrees!! Be careful if your booked here...you will be bitten all over on level 4!!

The hotel was clean, centrally located, and offered a great breakfast. A public parking garage was conveniently located just 100 meters away. We found the rooms to be a little dark for our taste and quite small. However, the staff were consistently very friendly and helpful.

helpful kind staff and hotel well positioned near train station, not far from the old city. the room was very dark with walls mostly painted black. the bed was comfortable and clean but overall the carpet was very dirty. the hotel accepts dogs and this being the case, the rugs and decor should be changed more regularly to control smells and stains in the rugs and carpet. the worse thing was actually the smell from the bathroom which was a heavy stench of sewer. no air conditioning so we had to have the window open to remove smells. not a comfortable nor restful stay.

The hotel's location right by the train station, with an adjacent parking garage, was a great start. A friendly phone call beforehand confirmed that we could use the parking garage directly at the station. From the parking garage, we simply crossed the street with our luggage and entered the hotel building. It was less than a 200-meter walk to the front desk. We received a very friendly welcome, and since our room wasn't ready yet, we were able to store our luggage. As it was raining, they kindly provided an umbrella, and we headed off to explore the city. After our city stroll, we returned to get our room key and hotel information. The rooms were clean, a decent size, and came with a compact bathroom (and an extra bed). The room featured a very comfortable bed (perfect for anyone with a bad back!) and was remarkably quiet despite its street-facing location. From the 3rd floor, we had a view overlooking the station square, with shops, trams, and buses. After a good night's sleep, we enjoyed a great breakfast on the 1st floor (pre-booked), which offered everything one could wish for. Overall, it provided excellent value for money and boasts a prime location.

We stayed for one night at the Intercity Hotel, and everything was fine. The hotel is located right next to Augsburg train station, which makes it very central. Check-in was smooth and quick, even though there was a large crowd. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful, and we had no complaints regarding their service either. After a short wait, our rooms were ready for us to check into. The rooms had everything needed for a short stay. The beds were comfortable, and the room itself was clean and spacious enough. If I were to nitpick, I'd mention the bathroom, which, at least in my room, could use some minor renovations (especially the shower). However, it didn't bother me personally. Breakfast offered a good selection for everyone and was certainly ample. Overall, for a short stay, this hotel is definitely recommendable.

The double room wasn't overly spacious, but it was clean, well-equipped, and the beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent, and the service was incredibly friendly and flexible. What truly stood out, however, was the exceptionally friendly and helpful staff!

Did not have the chance to stay at the hotel due to a misunderstanding during the booking of the rooms. Unfortunately a bit uncoordinated, but VERY helpful TOP LEVEL staff.
In my personal experience, some staff in charge of direct contact to customers had a lack of empathy when trying to clear the misunderstand. However, problem was cleared quickly after other staff noticed the problem later on.

For some reason i was initially reluctant staying here (maybe because I don't like the looks of Intercity at the Munich central station) but the stay in Augsburg was just fine. All basic facilities in the room were available and the staff at the reception was friendly and helpful.
