Ambiente in Munchen

Great location. Breakfast was wonderful. The windows to my room opened up pretty much all the way. I enjoyed my stay.

Check-in: quite fast, welcoming staff
Room: old fashioned, clean and relatively big
Location: central but profile of the street was a bit annoying (especially at night)
Breakfast: Sufficient variety, fresh and reasonable.
Staff: Especially the lady in the restaurant was so fun. Overall staff is very kind.

Classic German hotel - spacious room, a bit outdated furniture but comfortable, nice breakfast and no espresso. Location is both excellent and not so much because of the noise outside which included construction work, all kinds of people screaming till 4 in the morning and so on. However train station is very close as well as various public transport connections. Old town is across a boulevard and there are many shops and restaurants around. Totally recommend hotel Ambiente.

Perfect spot for Oktoberfest visits. The hotel is clean and easy to find. Only about 10-15 min walk to the Wiesn, and an even shorter walk to Hauptbahnhof. Rooms are a decent size and quiet - the street noise would be the only issue, but that’s not the fault of the hotel. Across the street is Schiller Bräu, which has a great menu of Bavarian classics, and the beer is delicious.

Perfect hotel for visitors on a budget. Very close to all the modes of transportation. Lot of restaurants in the vicinity.

24 hr reception and the receptionists are very cordial. Clean rooms with a safe, bathtub, and minibar. They even hold your luggage after you check out for late evening departures.

Unfortunately, I couldn't try their breakfast (supposedly great from the reviews.)

Great value. The hotel is in a great location. Good free breakfast. Wonderful service. The only downside is no air conditioning​.

Clean, centrally located small Hotel with friendly Service and a surprisingly good Breakfast buffet (for a small price).

I am for professional reasons often in Munich and now here. I think the price/performance ratio very good.
The rooms are for Paris conditions. The decor is a bit Baroque but quite cozy. All rooms have free Wifi, a table and chair for the Laptop and an easily accessible power outlet at the table. The rooms to the courtyard have a balcony. All of the rooms have a bathtub, which I personally welcome.
The TVs are quite small, it has the usual cable channels. But who is already to the television to Munich.
For the equipment with power sockets right is lush. You can find one for the phone, on the bed for the alarm clock, and even in the bathroom, one for the electric toothbrush. This is very convenient.
The Breakfast is a typical buffet with English and continental Breakfast. Here is a local specialty would be sometimes nice, Pretzels, or white sausages, one searches in vain.

Great place, lovely staff. Stayed here for a weekend to go to Oktoberfest and it was a good choice. Good breakfast too.
