I will start by saying maybe I could just have been unlucky on my stay here because it was so busy?…

I arrived at 9:30pm and checked in, went up to my room and the key didn’t work, so trekked back to reception for them to activate my key properly (no apologies). Went back upstairs to my room, after waiting behind a huge queue for the lifts. Door opened … no lights or power.

Back to reception I went … [please note: The two stars of my review are for the receptionist chap who accompanied me back to my room (for the third time) to pull the ceiling panel out to flip the switch on the fuse box]. Then I went to order room service and got told they aren’t doing it today, too busy.

Bed was as hard as a loaf of bread 10 days old, 1 tiny thin pillow that felt like sleeping on a 3 ply tissue. Fell in between the two tiny single beds they pushed together and the single duvet wasn’t great.

Woke up to daylight beaming directly into my eyeball from the curtain above. Went to make a coffee and the kettle only worked if I kept my finger on the switch (I think the saying is ‘a watched kettle never boils’), so I had to stand there for three minutes. Had a shower, went to dry my hair and the hairdryer kept going on and off depending on the direction I was pointing it. Off to work I went and arrived to what I was expecting to be a cleaned room…

+ The bed was made. - The tea/coffee supplies were not replenished. One of the 2 towels I had the previous day (1 body, 1 hand) had been taken away, so I was left with one hand towel and a bath mat for my next morning. Still remains the leaflet in the room advertising room service until 10pm, so I rang again and was told they were too busy. (My advice would be to remove a promise you cannot deliver on).

At least I only paid 394.20€ per night 🌝

Please check your bed as soon as you wnter the room

I booked a queen-sized room but was provided with a bed that is basically two half-sized beds fitted together. There is no way to sleep in the bed other than really pushing yourself into a corner. I had a really terrible night. The other day, when I requested to change the room, I was told that a queen bed is 142 cm in length and that this is what I received. It apparently doesn't matter whether it's cut into half or five pieces. The service was really terrible. I then asked if I could formally raise a complaint to the hotel management or to the Amazon third-party vendor (since I booked through one), but the receptionist told me that I could only complain to him."

The stay was not so great. The shower gel they provide was empty and the upper shower head was so clogged it didn't work. The handle shower heads mounting bracket was loose and wouldn't stay up so I just had to hold it. Breakfast was dreadful, bratwurst was dry and the eggs were wet. The wifi kept dropping me so it was useless.

I have been here a few times for work, and until tonight it was fine. However, today they didn't give me the room in the same area as usual, but in another area that is old. Very small room, no even a bottle of water in the room. No room service, and the restaurant didn't accept guests people there because there was a big group. The only option was to take food from a buffet and eat it in the room, but there is no space to have dinner. Not even a sofa because the room is very small. The food was also bad quality. Never again. If the hotel doesn't know how to manage a big group, then they shouldn't take it. I understand the big group gives a lot of money, but if it has to be in detriment of the user experience of other guests (that probably in the long-term will leave more money), then something is not working properly. Next time I will book another hotel.

Note: I booked the same room as usual as I use the booking app from my company. in any case, it says it is a 4 stars hotel and the room was not at all 4 starts. One colleague didnt have hot air in the room, another one didnt have hot water. I could hear noises and showers from my room, so not isolated. So, don't tell me it wast just a different standard, because this was not 4 stars in my opinion. Regarding the room service, I said in reception if there was room service, they said me yes. Then I mentioned this to 3 different people (restaurant reception, bar, and reception again).

Terrible experience, the hotel is very wind down and I had 5 flies in my room some dead when I got there at 11pm. No phone to warn reception in the room and I was ready for bed. Reception person even challenged my online booking payment with Booking despite showing all the relevant receipts. Terrible experience so far.

The black guy from reception its the rudes and most unpleasant hospitality worker that I've meet in my life and probably from the entire world... he could barely spoke English and during the check in was very rude and arrogant. THE WORST CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE FROM MY LIFE!!

What to say? a terrifying hotel. Extremely rude and uncooperative staff. no communication between the various receptionists. You have to repeat the same things every time. Rooms: old, dirty, stained carpet and above all the bathroom is not cleaned!!!! Furthermore, the cleaning lady loses a lot of hair which remains scattered everywhere. Bar and restaurant service cannot be charged to the room so you have to pay every time. At check out, however, they asked me to pay for a beer that I wouldn't have paid for, according to them. These were two bottles of water which were promptly paid for upon arrival, but clearly no one knew anything. Definitely to be avoided, due to dirt and incompetence of the staff..
