I was charged a no-show fee of 153 EUR for a reservation even though I was already staying in the same building and had two overlapping reservations under my name. Despite my physical presence at the property, the duplicate booking was not addressed by the reception team, and no attempt was made to contact me or resolve the issue on site. Instead, the reservation was simply marked as a no-show. Customer care and management later refused any refund, credit, or goodwill gesture, strictly hiding behind policy. Charging a no-show fee to a guest who was already accommodated in the same property is, in my opinion, unacceptable and shows a complete lack of customer focus.

stayed in a Family room for 2nights Wifi was good. AIr con in the hot room was not, and I was not able to sleep. Shower is a good 20cms off ground and difficult to get into as the room is very narrow! Room was clean but on close inspection, some dust under the beds. Use the tram no 18 or 19 to get to within 100 metres of the premises

We are a family of 5 ( 2 adults, 3 teenagers) who stayed overnight here twice in the last 2 weeks. We found it to be in an excellent location as we arrived into the central train station and got an Uber for less than 10euro. The local train stops right outside too. Family room was excellent but the shower room on the second stay was quite dangerous...it was about 20cm up from the ground with no grab handle for safety. If anyone slipped coming down from that step, the only place they would go would be face first into the room door! In time, I expect this buiding to be finished to a high standard but as it stands there are many cosmetics which remain unfinished. WE were meant to stay in this building last summer but our stay was cancelled because it remained unfinished. To be fair it still remains in a state of uncompletion but this didn have an impact on our stay. Fabulous brewery across the street for food and a beer on arrival! A positive stay alln round. Staff at reception exceptionally friendly.

The room was okay in terms of cleanliness, if you're not too picky. The shower head holder in the bathroom was broken. The night watchman tried to maintain peace and quiet, with some success. The common areas are currently being renovated, so the rooms aren't great. Breakfast is an outrage. No sliced sausage or cheese whatsoever; you can tell they're cutting corners. Paper plates, plastic bowls for the cereal, and wooden knives—the only thing worthy of breakfast was the coffee. Considering it's not exactly a bargain, it's far too meager. You might encounter staff who speak German, but most of the time you won't. €5.20 for a beer in a hostel—borderline. Across the street at the Augustiner, you can get a draft beer for €3.70. So, "good" is definitely not the word for it!

There's no kitchen, just a microwave, but no dishes or cutlery. The rooms are stuffy and run-down. The staff doesn't speak German, which makes communication extremely difficult. It was impossible to issue me a proper bill because no one knew how, and the task was simply passed on to the next shift. Breakfast is mediocre and served with plastic plates and wooden cutlery. All in all, a huge disappointment.

Yes the location is good. They claim the rooms are cleaned and sanitised before arrival but that is simply not true - see attached photos of toenail on the floor. There was dust and dirt all over the floor. We requested our room to be cleaned and the cleaner came and moved the dirt around with a wet mop. Overall - dirty room - NO AIR CONDITIONING - no extractor fan in bathroom - expensive breakfast consisted of packaged and frozen foods. - claim to be “mindful of nature” yet use disposable plates and cutlery for breakfast. - couldn’t buy drinks at the bar - too expensive for what claims to be a hotel but is a MEDIOCRE DIRTY HOSTEL at best.

Dirty, no air con. ***** hairs all over the place, on the beds, in the shower. Stains on the sheets and no mattress protectors. This is a hostel not a hotel. Staff told me to email the hotel after the trip to get a refund. I am still yet to hear after a week.

The best to say about this place is its "very spacious" 8-bed dorm room where I stayed for 3 nights which was really one of the biggest (if not the biggest) among many various dorms I've ever stayed at (really enough room for 8 people to comfortably move around with also an ensuite bathroom for just the people in the room). And also great were the lounge room connected to the lobby on the 1st floor (with some vending machines for drinks & snacks) and the elevator for a nice convenience to get to the multiple floors. And yes, although not at a top-notch location (at a little off the city center I would say), it's just about a 15-minute walk from here to Munich Central (the main train station) where there's also a nice underground shopping center (with McDonald's for breakfasts & also a Thai restaurant for a pretty good lunch during my stay); and about another 15-minute walk from Munich Central is the city's Old Town area with its "premier sites" of the Marienplatz square & the Residenz Palace. And, my thanks are to the staff members at the desk who were all helpful with my questions and who allowed me to check out "a little late".

The location is good, a few tram stops from the central station. Dorms have no AC, thus you have to sleep with the windows open. It gets quite loud at night because of the train station nearby. Be sure to bring some earplugs with you. Lockers are really small, you can barely fit something in them. Moreover, they do not close so they’re basically useless. The guest kitchen could be cleaner, otherwise it was well equipped

Stayed in the 6 bunk room. It had a private bathroom. The beds were comfortable. The room was nice for the price. The hotel has security at night. Location was great for Oktoberfest. Good breakfast and bar in the lobby.
