We had a great stay at the Hotel. Super location on outskirts of town. Quiet. Room was very comfortable and large with separate sitting room, bathroom, bedroom and huge balcony with a fantastic view of the surrounding mountains. Plenty of easy parking and we used the Indoor Pool. Also, secure storage for bikes. Hotel bar & restaurant is not open on Thursday and Fridays but plenty of places to eat...

I must say that overall, services in Germany have worsened in the last two years. The staff were very friendly and helpful. But the price-quality ratio is quite poor.

Extremely nice food and big portions, on Sunday for breakfast smoked salmon and Prosecco, amazing selection of cheese, nice rooms, small but warm and clean pool and sauna, beautiful views, location 3 min from centre and by the river. Much better choice to stay there and drive to Gapa then stay in overpriced Gapa

We stayed here for 2 nights when visiting Oberammergau for the Passion Play. Hotel very comfortable and extremely well organised for the Play, with the meal arrangements superbly arranged. I stayed in this hotel in July. As I travelled with Deutsche Bahn, I took a bus from the train station, because of the heavy luggage (Oberammergau was not my only stop). I was glad to see that there's a bus stop near the hotel. We traveled and the weather wasn’t the best but we spent a great time. Shoutout to the kitchen/waiter personnel because they went above and beyond for us, traveling with a child that is a very picky eater! The hotel is located in a quite small town close to Linderhof palace. It works well as a gateway to Zugspitze in the south and Neuschwanstein in the west. The room is big, clean and modern. The restaurant and the breakfast are excellent. Truly a hidden gem.

Wonderful stay with friendly and helpful staff, quiet location with mountain view right across the street. Sauna available from 3-8pm is a treat after a day in the outdoors. A hot Gluhwein on tap in the afternoons and the fireplace rounds off a luxurious stay. Breakfast from 8-10am is diverse and high quality. Rooms and bathrooms are immaculately clean.

The location is ideal since it sits in the heart of the village where you can find unique shops, restaurants and a beautiful cemetery with interesting headstones of past generations. Are you kidding me? Is there a more perfect view in all of Bavaria? I could have say on this balcony for a month straight! Honestly the bed was very hard, the pillows were much firmer than others in Germany (thankfully), the staff was terrific! Try the cheese board and Ettal Dunkel! This is the best hotel in the Bavarian region. Very clean, warm, and quiet. The hotel staff is wonderful and speaks multiple languages. It offers an authentic Bavarian village atmosphere and a top-notch restaurant. It's conveniently located, close to popular tourist attractions. This is our third year in a row staying at this hotel, and we have only the best memories.

Right in front of Ettal Abbey so you can't beat the location. We got the comfort apartment and it had everything (no ac which is common in the region)!!! Plus was super clean and spacious. It wasn't in the main building and we needed to take two flights of stairs, but the room and view made up for that workout.

This hotel far exceeded my expectations. I booked it with my eyes closed. The view of the Black Forest was all outside the window. The breakfast was also unbeatable. There were no shortcomings. Free parking was also provided. The price was very suitable!

The hotel itself was absolutely beautiful. My only issue throughout our stay was that all of the soaps and lotions at the hotel had some type of nut ingredient in them. My partner has a severe nut allergy and felt quite uncomfortable after finding out soaps and lotions were made from nuts. The hotel is not far from the train station, about 10 minutes' walk. I stayed here for one night before going to Zugspitze the next day. The facilities are a bit old, but the scenery is beautiful and the service staff are very friendly. I will consider staying here again next time I have a chance.

The hotel is located near the shoppingstreet of Garmisch and about 200 meters from the railwaystation. We have enjoyed our 3 night stay in this hotel. It was being at home of some very good friends. Long ago this location was a flour mill, now a luxury hotel and spa in Garmisch. Rooms were clean, bed firm. They have a small gym, and many spa services. The bar has a decent selection of spirits, wine and beer. There is a lovely walking path along the river.

Good hosts when staying in Garmisch. Wonderful family-run full service hotel in the centre of the resort town of Garmiscb-Partenkirchen. This hotel is a wow. We had a very memorable stay. The pool area and spa make a huge difference for the enjoyment of one’s stay. And Garmich-P. is a very charming town.

I liked it, but it's more like a cheap hotel. I found the heating set way too high and didn't see a thermostat to adjust the temperature. Additionally, the internet connection in my room was poor, so I used my own. An upgrade of the rooms would be nice, especially considering the €100 per night.

I love how comfortable the bed is! I rested super well! The room was spotless. The staff has been very nice and has a good location. There is a bank nearby and a couple of convenient stores. The hotel is about 12 minutes from the center / Marienplatz. I’d recommend it for solo travelers if they plan to visit Garmisch

Charming old world hotel with authentic details. Comfortable room with all amenities. This place is right on the way to the Rhine Falls. It can be used as a transit accommodation on the way to the Rhine Falls. There is a parking lot, which is quite large, and the breakfast is very rich.

My wife, 17 year old son and I spent 2 nights in the apartment at the Alpenhof. The room was spaceous and comfortable. The breakfast was great, as were the hosts, and the location is excellent. We were not able to enjoy the outside areas due to rain during our full visit, but the stream in the backyard and outside lounging areas looked inviting. I suspect we may have been the only guests there...

I stayed here alone on a leg of my road trip around Germany. Parking was easy and readily available. First of all, the pictures really do not do the location justice. I got a mountain view room (highly recommend; why come here and not have a balcony in the shadow of Zugspitze? It's truly breathtaking) and I must have spent three hours on the balcony that night just taking in the view. I was checked...

If you want to enjoy the GAP area this is a perfect location. Grainau and Längenfelder Hof is a great choice for alpine scenery. You can get here by the small train and will do well without a car. I recommend you rent bicycles (electric or other) as you have access to great roads and paths.

Very ,very suited for our stay !! In walking distance of everything: toxic lake ,and Garmisch (with its fish cafe store) and the famous gorge with a stream . What are transitional Hiking for 5-6 hours !!! And in the evening we had tea with warming liqueurs , pool and baths . Breakfast Deluxe . To the bus 5 min walk to the tourist train 15-20 min . I wish you all this holiday !!!

Wow wow wow! This is the best ski accommodation I have stayed in. Couldn't recommend it more. The food, the service and facilities are a step above the rest.

The location of the hotel is simply top-notch. The house is furnished with much love to Detail. The Boss and the entire staff is always concerned about the well-being of their guests. The house is highly recommended!!!

Not far from the famous Eibsee, the hotel itself faces Badersee. The clientele is mostly European, no Chinese, the environment is very nice and quiet. Breakfast is a bit lacking; there are no vegetables, only a small amount of salad, but there's a good variety of bread. The bed was fairly comfortable, but I was very disappointed to find hair on the large bath towel. The hotel offers free transportation...

One negative point.: The food offered for the breakfast buffet was unfortunately every day the same and not sourced from the area the hotel is located in. That's not what one would expect from a 4 star hotel in Germany.

5/5 stay Excellent stay at this beautiful property on the lake. The spa is lovely and the lady manager was friendly and a pleasure to converse with 5/5. They also have parking on site for €10 which made it convenient

The accommodation is beautiful. The room has hair that may not be cleaned properly.

The location is, of course, phenomenal. Directly on the idyllic Badersee with a breathtaking mountain panorama. Pure nature, like something out of a picture book.

Amazing day! The staff was the best part. We asked for an ice machine, but they don’t have them at hotels in Europe. A very nice staff member immediately helped us and ran and got us ice for our water bottles for the day. Went out of his way. Amazing place to stay!

We come back to here every year! The location is perfect with the lake and mountain. The hotel is generous with offering paddle boards and small boats which makes a huge difference. Great hotel right in the heart of town! One of the entrances opens right up into the pedestrian street with the church. Rooms are clean and spacious. Very quiet as the whole town is quiet after dark. Breakfast was included and offered a nice variety. Access to the sauna with water beds is included as well which was nice and relaxing in the evening.

The staff are wonderful The young man at front desk went out of his way to take me up the outskirts of the town to collect the bus back to Munich I’m very grateful for his generosity and kindness

This might have been my favorite hotel we stayed at over our 10 days in Germany. Just awesome in every way. Very much worth the money. Highly recommend.

Awesome property! looks like a fairy tail, the rooms are remodel and very comfortable.

Spacious, clean rooms but a bit dated with dim lighting. No coffee / tea or kettle provided in room but staff was kind to give when asked. Low floor rooms were a bit noisy. Hearty breakfast with a good spread. Staff was very helpful even though overwhelmed with a lot of guests. Location is great right in the heart of town and 5 mins away from station.
