Reviews
It's a 5-minute walk to the Berlin S-Bahn station.
Unfortunately, on the day of my visit, the elevator was broken! I had to climb up to the fourth floor with my luggage...
Apart from that, everything else was good for the most part!
Just the cleaning was good.
If you want just A LITTLE bit of relax don't come here.
No Tea, coffee or water in the rooms. No breakfast offered/ possible.
There's a bar area, with a professional coffee machine, but it's not used and wasn't offered as a possibility.
Tables around the bar area, but as breakfast wasn't offered, they weren't used.
There's restaurants and other places in walking distance, but nothing open Sunday morning obviously.
The hotel staff didn't ask for any ID, confirmation of payment, and didn't ask us to sign any paperwork. It was as if we were the only guests checking in for the day, and she was waiting. We paid $360 U.S. for 3 nights in advance.
After we walked into our room, we immediately realized the hotel was a poor choice. The carpet was stained, the pillows were flat, my son's bed was torn and stained, there were stains all over the door to our bathroom, the shower head was broken, and the tv had minimal channels. We couldn't find a single cartoon channel for our son. There was a sun light in our room that was covered with cardboard. There was also no coffee or tea in our room and no mini refrigerator.
We asked the staff at the front desk for a refund just an hour after checking in and she told us it wasn't possible because we already checked in and our purchase was non-refundable. We stayed one night because it was late when we arrived, but left the next day and didn't receive any compensation for leaving early. In fact when we turned in our room key, the staff just said "okay" and didn't even try to understand why we were upset. We felt scammed. Also I just want to note that the breakfast cost extra and was all cold items you could literally by yourself at the grocery store down the street.
Don't stay here and don't waste your money. Berlin has several hotel options and we found a much nicer one for less money!!
The staff is very friendly, speaking to each other but very loud in Russian or Polish (?).
The rooms have seen better times, but clean.
The mattresses were in each of our booked rooms a disgrace.
The Breakfast buffet is decent, there's something for everyone.
However, it is already tight, if three or more guests at the same time want something get.
The Parking situation is a disaster. We had göücklich rented in the run-up to two Parking spaces at the hotel.
All in all, price and performance were, in our opinion, in a reasonable ratio. For one or two Nights. A holiday hotel, however, it is not.
:-)
We had booked two 4 room apartments. We get notified that we will receive, but only one of these, and 2 two-room. All of the discussion on the switch were unsuccessful. the family was in the double room.....the Lucky ones.
We arrived in the "4P" room. This was a little run down and the sofa bed for the children was ancient and the bed is unsuitable (children have finally slept with us in bed).
The disaster, however, was that the "non Smoking apartment" one ashtray, urgent..had been not smoked anything, but here must have been Smoking over the years the Bude. The smell hung in any fabric..anywhere..to Endure.
The ladies of the recession, this was not known (a joke)..we got no help, coughing and through the weekend.
Never again!!!!
