Alfa Hotel in Berlin

The smell is very bad in the room and especially the bath room. If have nod had this in over 10 years to habe a bad smelling smoker hotel room so I would expect to be notified on checkin that the room smells super bad. The Wifi connection is not working and the 3/4/5G signal strength very weak. The pillows are filled with super cheap stuff and very uncomfortable.

Here is why I give one star: those points go from low to high importance.

1- The first (not so big problem) was that the light of the bathroom didn’t work. After asking, they gave me a second room. Appreciate that!

But:

2- The second room was not cleaned thoroughly after the previous guest. The sheets were folded in a nice way that gives you an impression that everything is perfect. However,
I found out step by step the following:
a- The towel in the bathroom had spots, but was folded professionally as if it was cleaned.
b- There was a used glass from the previous guest, with some drops of cola.
c- The bedsheets were made really nice but after checking carefully, there were hairs obviously of a man.

3- This point pissed me off the most that made me write this comment: THE SERVICE. I tried in a nice way to give these tips, but the lady at the reception spoke in a tone that made it my fault not having checked the room carefully.

My point to ALFA hotel is that it is your business to gain the trust of the guests.
