No water kettle in the room. I went down to the reception to ask for the hot water, the reception then said “there is a water kettle in the room, if not then your room doesn’t have it”
Well.. isn’t it the basic thing that should have in the hotel room?
Staff not so welcoming

We are very disappointed with this hotel and especially with the service.

We booked a room that, according to the booking, should have been **19 m²**. However, the room we actually received was **at most about 10 m²** – smaller than many mini-hotels in Japan. The space was extremely cramped and in no way matched the description.

When we brought this up at reception the next morning, we were told that it was **our fault**, as we should have complained the previous evening. At that time, however, we hadn't noticed the discrepancy and only realized it that morning when we checked the booking again. Nevertheless, the staff showed absolutely no understanding.

No **solution was offered**, no **apology** was given, and **no compensation** was promised. Instead, the responsibility was completely shifted onto us.

Such behavior is unprofessional and customer-unfriendly. We expect the rooms to match the description and that, in the case of justified complaints, at least a willingness to talk and some goodwill is shown. Unfortunately, this was not the case here.

The hotel's location is very good. Unfortunately, the service is a complete joke! I checked in five hours before my girlfriend, but couldn't sign anything because I wasn't the main guest. I was told that my girlfriend would have to sign as soon as she arrived. I informed her of this. However, when she arrived, she insisted she didn't have to sign anything. We had been in the room for another hour by then. At 12:13 a.m., there was a knock on our door. It was an employee who couldn't explain to us, either in English or German, what he wanted in our room at that hour. He demanded my signature. Since my girlfriend was showering, this wasn't possible right away. Why did he come into our room after midnight? More importantly, why did he already have a key card in his hand?! We finally got him to sign the next day. But the problem still wasn't over. We encountered the same employee again when we checked out. There, he was once again very unfriendly, making inappropriate comments about our clothing and pointing out that we had forgotten to pay the tourist tax. It's not my job as a guest to know such things. Nor is it our problem if he's unable to train his staff. However, since he himself seemed overwhelmed, this doesn't surprise us. We will never return to this hotel and would advise everyone against it. Anyone who enjoys being treated badly and rudely is, however, "welcome" there anytime.
