So disappointed not to have a wardrobe in my room - not even a few hooks on the wall to hang my suits / shirts .
When I enquired about it at reception, I was told that ‘ my room rate does not include a wardrobe’. I travel the world on business for over 30 years and have never encountered this before . My freshly pressed shirt I took from the suitcase this morning, looked as if I slept in it .
I did not air my grievance with the receptionist as it wasn’t her fault but Management should know better . I would definitely not stay again .

Overall, I was very disappointed with my stay at this hotel and would not book it again. I've been to Berlin many times, but this was by far my worst hotel experience – especially from a Marriott Group property, where I expected significantly more. Even check-in was chaotic: the deposit amount varied for each guest without any discernible explanation, and I would have had to pay double if I had opted for cash. On top of that, only one of our two room keys worked, and we had to go to reception several times to resolve the issue.

The most serious problem, however, was cleanliness: on the very first evening, we found a clearly visible, dried bloodstain on the duvet. Instead of changing the duvet, they simply put a sheet over it. We only had proper, freshly made beds on one day – despite asking multiple times. Combined with the very thin walls, this was extremely unpleasant and unhygienic. Many things were also technically unreliable: the lights and shower were difficult to use, the sink drained poorly, and complaints were largely ignored. As "compensation," we received only a 15% discount voucher for the bar, from which the hotel essentially profited itself – I didn't consider this a genuine gesture of goodwill.

In addition, there were hefty charges of €30 per night for my girlfriend's dog, who was only in the room for two days and not even the entire time – without any extras like a food bowl or blanket. My stay was partly for business, so I had little time and yet I constantly had to go back to reception to explain the same problems. The staff were polite, but overall not very customer-oriented, and many problems were met with derision rather than taken seriously. For the price, I expected significantly more – even in simpler hotels like a Motel One, I felt much more comfortable and, above all, cleaner.

Was very excited for my stay and was disappointed- the staff were nice and helpful however the cleanliness and conditions were not up to par. Stains on the couch so i was not able to use it, chips on the wood table, makeup smeared on the phone, stains on the bed sheets and mattresses. Just gave an icky feeling overall. Be aware that the tablet used to order room service is not up to date and now has a completely different menu -you make it easier on staff to order directly from the restaurant. Again beautiful room and great people just need to update cleaning standards for the amount you pay for certain rooms i shouldnt run my finger and have it covered in dust. Nice restaurants nearby and metro stop in walking distance.
