In particular, I want to extend my deepest thanks for the extraordinary assistance from Hotel: On June 17, I departed with eight students for our 18-day architectural site tour in Europe. Four months earlier, I had already booked five rooms at Hotel Martas Allegra Berlin via a well-known global booking platform. However, just one day before departure, I suddenly received a message from the booking site stating: “Your credit card has been marked as invalid. Your reservation in Berlin from June 21 to June 24 will be canceled.” This came as a shock, especially since the very same card was successfully used to book our Vienna stay via the same platform for June 29 to July 3, which was later completed without issue.
While on the train to Munich, I decided to email the hotel directly for help. To my great relief, I soon received a phone call, reassuring me that they would resolve the issue through the hotel’s booking system. When we arrived for check-in, I realized the original booking price was honored without any extra charges. This left a lasting impression on me.
Although my busy schedule after returning to Taiwan delayed this comments, I have never forgotten the assistance from Hotel Martas Allegra Berlin.
The building was pretty, with a beautiful entry and staircase. Staff are very helpful and accommodating.
