Marta’s Hotel Allegra Berlin is a real find! It gets top marks for value, service and room size/cleanliness and facilities. As an older person traveling solo, everything worked perfectly, from being a short ride from Berlin Hbf to being spoiled for choice with cafes, bars and restaurants, all while being in a super quiet room. Highly recommend

Fabulous location a few minutes walk from Friedrichstr station. One of the best breakfasts I've had in a hotel.

My graduate students who stayed with me all remarked that the hotel provided a truly enjoyable experience: the breakfast was both abundant and refined, the rooms were spacious, and the location was very convenient.
In particular, I want to extend my deepest thanks for the extraordinary assistance from Hotel: On June 17, I departed with eight students for our 18-day architectural site tour in Europe. Four months earlier, I had already booked five rooms at Hotel Martas Allegra Berlin via a well-known global booking platform. However, just one day before departure, I suddenly received a message from the booking site stating: “Your credit card has been marked as invalid. Your reservation in Berlin from June 21 to June 24 will be canceled.” This came as a shock, especially since the very same card was successfully used to book our Vienna stay via the same platform for June 29 to July 3, which was later completed without issue.
While on the train to Munich, I decided to email the hotel directly for help. To my great relief, I soon received a phone call, reassuring me that they would resolve the issue through the hotel’s booking system. When we arrived for check-in, I realized the original booking price was honored without any extra charges. This left a lasting impression on me.
Although my busy schedule after returning to Taiwan delayed this comments, I have never forgotten the assistance from Hotel Martas Allegra Berlin.

Great location near the train station and plenty of restaurants. The staff were friendly and professional. However, check-in is at a separate building across the street. The shower cubicle in my bathroom didn’t close properly, resulting water leaking so badly I almost flooded the room. Still, a decent stay overall.

Rooms are somewhat dated. There were 2 single beds and duvets, queen sized beds would have been nice. Shower door did not close properly because is was too small.

The building was pretty, with a beautiful entry and staircase. Staff are very helpful and accommodating.

Okay rooms, great bathrooms and very close a few really great restaurants. Really nothing to complain about considering the price, but it is not very luxurious.
