its very convenient and clean!

NO towels changed , surprisely poor room service, breakfast buffet no expensive, but coffee no, no food except some eggs, i paid EURO 16 for one egg .

Someone tried to get into my room around midnight. The front desk had double-booked my room. How can this happen in the age of computers?

Good hotel! The position is strategic, near the railway station of Darmstadt. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the staff is kindly.

Hotel is clean and properly lit. Very convenient next to the train/bus stop. Easy to get around.

It's better than I thought. Close to the train station. My room faced the tracks but there was not much train noise. Decent size room and good shower. Service was good. They also gave me a public transport ticket when I asked. The only thing was the pillow was too thin and provided no support.

Confortable room despite few free charging positions for the mobiles and PC. Perfect location close to my company while too basic breakfast with no cakes or croissant left at 8 AM (it seems they were already over). Tomorrow I will skip it.

First time I was at the hotel I got a normal room and everything was perfect. This time I was there for 3 day and got an upgrade for a very awesome apartment room. The rooms a like new and on the small one there was an XBOX and in the apartment the was a sauna. The breakfast is okay but far from the best and the location is pretty boring.

Pleasent surprise. Room was spacious and loved the Jacuzzi. But for some reason my wife and I did not find the bed comfortable.

Small but very comfortable room. 10-15 minutes from the airport by car. Free Wi-fi. Nice girls on reception, they speak English and very easy-communicative! Hot/cold weather in the bathroom. Very comfortable bed.

Staff quite serious and not really friendly. The building is not really clean. They cleanliness level of the room was OK but it was a bit smelly.

It's everything that you would expect from this brand: minimalistic and affordable. The tiny room is clean, the bed is comfortable, the staff are friendly. Don't expect anything more. Location near the train station has its pros and cons (good for getting around and full of fast food places, but not the tidiest of areas). It's a good option for young people and solo travellers.

5 min walk to the station. Close to red light district and not far from the touristy places. However you do have to pass by lots of sketchy people around the area (lots of people on drugs and the less civilised minorities). But the area is well patrolled with police and lots of normal people walking around. Hardly any authentic German cuisine nearby. The room is small but the bed is comfortable and...

Very standard room, no luxuries - but that's fair given the price. It's situated in a dodgy area as it's near the main station which has a reputation for crime, however we didn't experience any difficulties. The shower is nice and the bed was soft, however the sheets don't fit well on the duvet and pillows. The reception staff were all friendly and welcoming.

Small cheap hotel perfect for staying a few nights in Frankfurt. The rooms are clean, the price is very reasonable and the noise level is pretty low considering its in the middle of the city. Only downside was the water from the shower drenching the floor and the showerhead needing a cleaning.

One night stay The hotel was clean but had a strange smell. It would have been helpful to have some information in the room available in English. The receptionist didn’t speak any English, which made it difficult to find out how to charge our car. The buffet breakfast was nice.

This was more like a bed and breakfast. Hosts treated us very well. Room was cozy and comfortable. Breakfast was very good and free parking was very nice. I recommend this B&B. Very welcoming. The only thing we had trouble with was finding it as gps sends you past the hotel to another village. Only 5 kilometers to rothenburg.

Good beds. The rest lacking a bit. Comfortable beds. Roomy. Seemed clean enough. But… No internet. No room keys, reception had to open the rooms every time. Pool was closed. Air conditioning didn’t work, so rooms were very hot.

The "Achat" is a highly recommended hotel in Wetzlar, which I have enjoyed visiting for many years. The rooms are quiet and modern, some even have bathtubs. The walk between the guest rooms and the large breakfast room is a bit long, as it leads past several conference rooms. The breakfast is good, but a bit overpriced at €21.50. The hotel has the facilities but the whole place looks like it got stuck in the early 19th century. The rooms are large and there are some modern cupboards in but the toilets is very old and there are cracked tiles and some dirt around the toilet bowl and the shower. The cleanliness of the toilets is quite disappointing. The reception seems modern but it feels like that is where they stopped caring...

A location worthy of Germany with nice staff and a restaurant ready for instagram photos. The town is like as to welcome tourists. If you stay at this hotel, don't worry about parking because the hotel has numerous spots including parking for charging electric cars.

For a room over €200 per night and rated 4 star, we expected the bathroom to have at least more than just a 3in1 shower gel. Wi-Fi did not work too until issue was brought up to reception, which only an additional set up instruction was given. Pillow was typical cheap with no support kinda German pillow. Unfortunately, we were allocated a room with adjoining balcony whereby cigarette smoke entered...

The environment is clean, and the front desk staff are super friendly, making me feel right at home. There's a great selection of TV programs; watching SpongeBob or Fury in my free time was incredibly relaxing and comfortable.

They were really nice about the luggage :) The receptionists let us leave our luggage with them both before and after our check in / check out, which gave me and my husband an opportunity to explore the city luggage free!! We expected the hotel to be closer to the Frankfurt station (it’s about a 20 minute walk), but taking the tram made the travel pretty easy

The hotel is conveniently located near a large plaza, which is a big plus. It's about a 20-minute walk from the station, so if you have a lot of luggage, I'd recommend taking a taxi. It's clean, but there's a bit of noise.

We felt very comfortable. The thermal baths are about a 10-minute walk away. The owner is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet left nothing to be desired. We will definitely come back again.

Haus Irene is a super cute family-owned hotel. It is in a very nice location, the rooms are clean, the breakfast is small but nice and there are nice lounge areas inside and in the garden. Thanks to the extremely nice staff, it almost feels like you're visiting friends. Highly Recommended.

Nightmare trying to check in, no access, note on door to phone a number, a recorded message in German. With help on a German speaker, message said keys in a box. This information should have been in the reservation notes..😡

Great location if you are travelling by car. Drinks are available around the clock on a trust basis (tally list), I think that is a very good solution... Very good alternative to the usual business hotels

Warm, friendly and professional staff, both at the reception and at breakfast. The location is ideal, close to the motorway yet quiet and very near supermarkets and restaurants. The hotel is an interesting concept hotel, with up cycling and recycling as a clear theme. Smart, unique and quirky interior, all very clean and functional.

Amazing! What an extraordinary hotel with style. The slogan "The house without a story tells stories" becomes clear when you enter the unusual lobby. We arrived at the airport in the evening and chose this hotel because it was close to the airport. At half past midnight, checking in using the door safe was no problem at all. The atmosphere in the lobby immediately captivated us, so we went quickly...

Beautifully located in the old town, so everything is within walking distance. I was there without a car, but there are plenty of parking options.

The hotel's location is fantastic, just a short walk from the center of Wetzlar. The room was exceptionally clean, and the service was warm and accommodating. The breakfast was excellent, and the balcony provided a lovely view. I would definitely love to return to this hotel.

We were very happy with the hotel. The only negative thing was that the restaurant and bar were closed. When the reception closed shortly after nine, there was no place to stay except in the room. Very good breakfast and friendly staff. I will recommend the hotel.

Really beautifully located in old town. Wetzlar has a beautiful cathedral just three minutes away by foot. Learn about Goethe and his life and love in Wetzlar. Eat at Landsknecht restaurant at Kornmarkt. Lovely people at reception. Parking is along the streets for free.

The hotel is close to the historic center. That's the only positive point. The rooms aren't exactly clean. There are cobwebs on the ceiling, the carpet is stained and the bathroom is just about OK. The staff in general seem overwhelmed. There is no compensation offered for not having the room cleaned if you stay for several days. One can only hope that something changes quickly.

It is a completely staff less hotel, at least the frontend staff. Right from opening the main hotel entrance door to your room door everything can be operated from your mobile phone. Really great experience.

I was sent here by Lufthansa after I missed a connecting flight. The hotel was lovely, a pleasant surprise. The room had a very comfortable bed, a powerful shower and a balcony, much appreciated after a long day of travelling. I thought the receptionist went out of his way to make us feel comfortable and lessen the impact of our disruption despite it not being anything to do with the hotel. Perhaps...

Really pretty room with a cozy balcony with a pleasant view. The room is clean and the TV even welcomes you by name. First time that happened to me. Big downstairs parking. Breakfast was amazing. I stayed for 4 nights and was very satisfied.

Stayed here for a one-night stopover on our way from Bavaria to the UK. It is okay and has what one needs for one night, decent beds, ok bathroom, peaceful area. Breakfast is again average, staff friendly. Nothing that stands out, but nothing to complain about either.

I stayed over for one night. Cleanliness: 7/10. The beds were fine, check-in was easy, and the staff was friendly. Breakfast: 6/10. The milk tasted off (possibly spoiled), which made me hesitant to trust the other fresh items as well. So for the night it was really fine, but I think I would skip breakfast next time.

Good, what it is, overnight Hotel, good location for the Autobahn, very good breakfast, friendly and helpful staff,good beds, good size rooms,good insulation from the traffic and outside noises,with the windows shut ! Only one thing could be better . . . have a kettle and cups for a cup of Tea or Coffee in the room !

It has good breakfast selection, and close by it has a few restaurants. The rooms were big and nice and modern.

Friendly staff until about 7 pm. Later check-in is difficult. Rooms are okay except for the old carpet. Bathrooms in rooms 22 and 24 are run-down; the one in room 24 is as small as a guest toilet. Beds are good. The street is noisy, and there are only three parking spaces in the courtyard (you should inquire beforehand). Okay for one night.

Modern well equipped rooms in the center of town

Sehr nette Besitzer und zuvorkommende Angestellte. Das Hotel ist sehr gepflegt und sauber. Beim Frühstück ist alles da, was man braucht. Wir konnten auch später anreisen, als wie üblich, und es wurde uns auch noch spontan ein Tisch im Restaurant reserviert. Pool und Sauna waren ebenfalls sehr gepflegt und sauber. Wir werden definitiv wieder buchen.

It was an amazing journey to visit Hercules and Hotel was just in the right spot for it. Easy to reach via trains and near to the touristic places.

Great stay at Pentahotel Kassel! Super kid-friendly, staff made us feel welcome as a family, rooms are comfy, and location near the station is perfect. Best part: they still let you pay in cash (unlike those annoying cashless hotels). Relaxed vibe in the lounge and a good base for exploring Kassel!

I would have given this hotel 5 stars, if not for the lack of a ramp for luggage. You need to use the stairs to bring luggage inside. Staff are helpful though; walking distance to the Central Station, to the Flixbus terminal.

My experience was great. I stayed four nights at the beginning of June 2025. We paid for a three people room, very comfortable beds, the room was big and clean, located on the top floor including a nice balcony with great view. The hotel is 20 minutes away from the Old town and 5 minutes away from Frankfurt HBF (on foot). We didn’t have breakfast there due to the price.

The lady who checked us in was lovely and very friendly. The room was very clean and comfortable. We ate in the restaurant and it was also very good with nice wines.

Very friendly staff. Was able to park in lot by hotel. Great German atmosphere with the restaurant /garden. Located next to all shops and restaurants, but just at edge of old town. We had a cozy top floor room. No elevator( older building) so be prepared to walk the spiral stairs with you bags. Part of the charm.
