I had a truly wonderful stay at Tante Alma Hotel! The place has such a charming and cozy atmosphere — it feels like a mix between a boutique hotel and a warm home. Everything was spotless and thoughtfully designed, but what really stood out was the service.

Diana at the reception was absolutely amazing — friendly, attentive, and genuinely helpful from the moment I arrived. She went out of her way to make my stay comfortable, offering great tips about the area and making sure every detail was perfect. It’s rare to meet someone so professional yet so kind.

Thank you, Diana and the Tante Alma team, for making my visit unforgettable. I’ll definitely be coming back and recommending this hotel to everyone I know!

Hotel was in a very nice cozy location, and offered a parking garage. Rooms were clean and had everything we needed. The only wish would be some hooks in the bathrooms for used towels and better pillows ( those were really terrible in our room)

Stayed here with family for an event. Will stay here anytime I am back in Bonn. Great neighborhood with lots of dining and shopping options. The greek restaurant across the street is fantastic and it is wonderful to spent the evening in their back garden under the grapes. The nearby botanical garden is a place of peace and wonder and the walk to the university is leads you through Bonn’s most charming neighborhoods. If you don’t want to walk there is also a very frequent bus.
Can’t say enough about just how gemütlich the hotel is. The common spaces and very generous - great to hang out in for some downtime or conversation, room feels safe and clean and little balcony is great. Staff was welcoming and herzlich.

Upon arrival late at night we found ourselves in front of locked doors. I had messaged the hotel several times prior to our stay to advise that we would arrive late and was told that I would receive an email on the check in date with detailed instructions. Sadly the email never materialised. I found the hotels telephone number and called to speak to an advisor who is located in a totally different part of Germany. He had never been to the hotel or even Bonn! We finally worked our way though the key safe to retrieve our room card.
The next issue was the parking garage that was apparently broken! Again, this was upsetting to hear as noone mentioned it when I corresponded with the hotel prior to our stay. There is no on street parking nearby.
We finally managed to work out how to override the garage door - the garage is tiny, but at least the car was safe.
The room itself was bigger than expected and very clean. The mattress was comfortable. The bathroom was small but adequate (just be aware that the shower curtain is too small and that you're likely to flood the bathroom floor). Note that room service has to be booked separately by scanning a QR code attached to the bathroom mirror.
We found the room to be very quiet although it overlooked the road.
We only managed to see someone at reception when we checked out a few days later.

Hot water was an issue for several days. We waited for a long time for hot water. Even when it was hot it was unsteady, at times turning cold. the breakfast was nice but the breakfast seating was eclectic and uncomfortable.
The staff was nice and helpful but there was never housekeeping... we had the same (1) towel all week. The bed was okay... most of the pillows were small decorative pillows and not comfortable. To be fair... there was a second pillow in the closet which I eventually found. The location was really good. i like Popplesdorf.

A unique hotel. Tastelessly decorated. Things just thrown together haphazardly. The whole place smells unpleasant. The bathroom had no soap and the sink had no drain plug. There were no glasses for drinking water. The dining room had only one normal dining table, the other coffee tables with small chairs.

A good choice for an overnight stay, the room was clean and spacious enough, beds were comfortable but pillows could be better. Very nice breakfast restaurant that they fittingly call "living room", with colorful decor and various types of seating arrangements.

Tante Alma‘s Hotel has a very cozy atmosphere. We really enjoyed the top floor lounge and terrace and the complementary coffee and cake. There is also a room with board games in the basement. It is close to Poppelsdorfer Schloss but a bit outside the city. Rather quite neighborhood. Staff was extremely friendly and everything spec clean. I would stay there again any time. Well suited for families.
