This is our go-to hotel in Köln, 5 muli-day stays over the years. If you want an old-style hotel, not a standard modern chain, this is a great choice. Very nice accomodations. Great location, close to the train, attractions, and othe amenities in town. Simply a completely pleasent place to stay. It is very clean and the dillagent, friendly staff help you feel welcome. There is a small elevator and great breakfast. Not the best layout for a work-vacation but perfect for your visit to this fabulous city on the Rhine.

Spacious rooms, near the station and cathedral at the river bank.
It was very warm. Key to the room was obtained from a locker at the door. Can be noisy from people outside but closing the windows reduces the sound sufficient.

The location is amazing, right in the city centre. The rooms are clean but quite hot and there is a lot of noise from the street next to the hotel and de cafes.
It is a contactless check in and for the majority of our stay we didn't see any staff. Only with the check out. The person who was handeling the checkout was not very nice, they didn't communicate and was quite grumpy.

It's not a fancy shamancy hotel, but the location is wonderful, really close to the Central Station. The rooms are big, breakfast is regular European breakfast. One thing to note, if you're sensitive to noises they don't have a good noise isolation.

Location convenient for walking around the surrounding area including past the opera house and over to the love lock bridge but getting in and out of the hotel is awkward as there didn’t appear to be a lift.
Easy access to the water sculpture which is great for hot summer days.
It’s smoky smelling inside the hotel rooms and corridor so be aware of that in case you’re smoke sensitive (though it’s a non smoking hotel).

Nice Hotel in Reasonable price. Near to everything in Cologne. Best Beer 🍺 and of course Traditional Schnitzel Dish

Middle class Hotel in a Top location: The Hotel is inexpensive, for what you are allowed to a not-too-big Standard to be expected. The rooms are spacious and equipped accordingly. On each floor there are 2 rooms with a river view and 2 rooms to the rear. To recommend for city travellers with a smaller Budget, as the location is great and you find yourself within a very short time in the old town (plenty of Restaurants, points of interest (Cathedral, town house, Rhine river, etc.), as well as countless Breweries with tasty Kölsch beer and other delicacies).

We were amazed to find accommodation as close to the center. And even though we had some reluctance, the room we loved it, although the sink was small. We would repeat without doubt.
