Perfect location, friendly staff, nice breakfast, spacious room, very clean

Middle class Hotel in a Top location: The Hotel is inexpensive, for what you are allowed to a not-too-big Standard to be expected. The rooms are spacious and equipped accordingly. On each floor there are 2 rooms with a river view and 2 rooms to the rear. To recommend for city travellers with a smaller Budget, as the location is great and you find yourself within a very short time in the old town (plenty of Restaurants, points of interest (Cathedral, town house, Rhine river, etc.), as well as countless Breweries with tasty Kölsch beer and other delicacies).

Room tip: If a longer stay is planned, we recommend a room with the Rhine book.

We were amazed to find accommodation as close to the center. And even though we had some reluctance, the room we loved it, although the sink was small. We would repeat without doubt.

For a visit in Cologne is an ideal starting point. Philharmonic hall, the Central station, Schildergasse and Hohe Strasse, as well in the immediate and very well to foot reach. The banks of the Rhine, with its many boat docks and the chocolate and the German sports Museum, alter Markt and Heumarkt are in the direct neighbourhood.

The Breakfast is sufficient and tasty. Some of the rooms are on the Bank of the Rhine, and offer a great view. Even if the inventory is now "a bit" long in the tooth, we can recommend the Hotel due to its Top location and the very friendly and helpful staff.

Price and performance just right. You can't expect for the price much but it is clean and in very good condition. The location of the hotel is really good. My room had a view of the Rhine and from the Hbf, it is fast (about 10 minutes) and easy to reach.

Lovely location, good view of the river. Clean rooms with plenty of space, and bathrooms are adequate. Very short walk to the cathedral and other sights. Rooms are quiet even with the restaurant below.
