The receptionist Miss Polat was very nice and made my stay so much better. The place was quiet at night an near the city center/shopping district. Room was clean.

Solo Leisure Trip. Very helpful reception staff. Good location near centre of town. Rooms clean and have been modernised with the exception of the bathroom.

New opening (renovated former Tulip Inn) about 6 months ago. Nice location within walking distance of the main shopping street. Breakfast buffet is well balanced and tasteful! Parking available (15 EUR) but best to reserve due to limited space availability. Friendly reception staff (especially Finnja). Rooms look fresh with complimentary WifI and smart TV you can cast on from your phone. About 60 rooms so a bit more cosy (and familiar staff faces) as opposed to the big hotels. Ideal for a couple days in Düsseldorf which is also a very nice city. So surely recommend this new hotel which only needs try optimise a bit more the overall Radission staying experience.

Safe and central location, the room was big enough, in good condition and clean, a tiny bit dusty (but I am a perfectionist). The room's gray walls gave a cold and very serious vibe, a bit too much. The staff was polite and breakfast was plenty. No vegetables though, only cucumber, but I didn't ask for more so I don't know. Coffee was not to my taste, unfortunately. It's not a huge hotel and there isn't an outside area. Very good location for moving about town and public transport and shops.

I stayed one night. I am VIP Status and literally live in hotels for work. Especially radisson. Radisson should never have given its name to this hotel. There is no restaurant, very small bar, the rooms are outdated and showing signs of crumbling. The breakfast is poor. Powdered cold/hard,green scrambled eggs…. They will not offer fried/poached eggs like almost all other Radisson hotels. The bathroom had water stains in the plaster above the shower and the shower fixtures were hanging off. Loud humming noise coming from the wall all night, I had to activate the air con system to counteract the humming noise. Parking is an issue. It’s an underground garage across the road and it is dark, tiny and the Spaces are too small for the larger vehicle. You need to manoeuvre many times to get out of the car park due to the angle of the exit. Ignorant front desk manager. The staff that booked me in was really good and a problem solver. Upon booking out and explaining the issues to the front desk manager, she just looked at me and said “we’ve never had those complaints before”. However, TRIPADVISOR evidences the lack of support/care from the staff, and the poor state this building is in. It shows this is a 3 star hotel…..it is not. No where near. I then booked into the Radisson conference (9miles away) and the difference is polarising. For the sake of €20 a night more, visit the Radisson BLU Conference or the Radisson media. This is by far, the worst Radisson (franchise) I have stayed in, whether it be UK or Europe. Premier inn offers much better service and facilities. Including a decent breakfast. ****AVOID***** Also not in a decent location. Very poor neighbourhood

Cons: The hotel is a bit old. Generally it was clean but the walls and armatures in the bathroom tells not the same. Water pressure was ok, but the temp was so high or so cold and difficult to adjust. This was the smallest looking bed ever. Like a couch, but comfy. I didn't checked the prices of other hotels around, but for 75€/night, this hotel may not be the best value for money. Pros: rich breakfast: including 4 types of cheese, 4 types of salami, fried bacon, scrumbled eggs, even some smoked salmon and trout! Staff was friendly and helpful. Wi-Fi range and speed was OK. Very good location: Walk distance to City Centre, near the metro station. Conclusion: - old bathroom - small looking bed drops this hotel makes this hotel not very much of a business one. + Rich breakfast + Location are good.

Am grateful for the space (a luxury here at times) and decent, proper twin beds so neither my colleague nor I would have to sleep on a couch. I like it that it’s tiled flooring and not carpet, so it feels cleaner. Bathroom is decent sized except the glass separator is rather lousy at doing its job and hardly holding the water in so the whole bathroom floor is flooded after the first person showers. Wifi is at times weak but usable. The hotel is just 2 mins walk to Pempelforter Station where all the U-Bahn trains here runs to Heinrich Heine Allee station 2 stops away. There's also a DM just opposite the street and a REWE supermarket round the corner. And just across the street from REWE is an Italian restaurant Casanova, that sells yummy pasta and pizzas. Breakfast is typical continental style but that's what you get at the bakeries anyway so it's nice to be able to sit and enjoy breakfast. Service is excellent, especially the staff at the front desk, always helpful and always smiling! Would love to return the next time I'm back

First the nice things: - very recently renovated, so the room is neat and clean. - price is not so pricey - close to the centre and Altstad - friendly and helpful personnel - new and fluffy towels! Then the not so good: - the bathroom in our room is not so new and minimal renovated. Also it was small and the shower was in the bathtub. Not so good for safety reasons. - no closets, only hanger on a rack on the wall. - no freezer. - no safe to store our personal things, so you have to haul them the whole day. - not so much parking space available for the guests. If they are used up, you need to park in the public parkings. - breakfast is not so great as we used to see in German hotels. It is fresh and enough, but not so much choices. - the elevator is old and slow. And it needs a paint job.

This hotel was a disaster from start to finish. We arrived at 2:30 PM to a room that felt like a freezer—windows wide open in -3°C weather, no heating, and floors so cold we couldn’t stand barefoot. The bathtub was filthy, the lamp was broken, and the bed had a flimsy summer blanket unfit for winter.

After waiting hours for the room to warm up (it never did), I pleaded with reception for extra blankets. The staff was shockingly rude, interrogating me before claiming they’d “bring blankets up.” I waited 40 minutes, returned twice, and finally got blankets after over an hour. The bathroom was too grimy to shower, and the entire place felt neglected, with staff who clearly didn’t care.

Never again. This wasn’t a hotel stay—it was survival mode. Worst experience of my life.

Upon checking in at 2:30 PM, we were horrified to discover our room felt like a freezer—all windows were wide open in -3°C weather, the radiators were off, and the space was utterly frigid. To make matters worse, the room was visibly dirty (especially the bathtub, which had stains and grime), the bedside lamp was broken, and the bed was uncomfortably stiff with only a thin summer blanket provided—completely inadequate for the freezing temperatures. Unable to tolerate the cold, we left the room and waited hours, hoping it would warm up. By 11 PM, with no improvement, I requested an extra blanket at reception. The staff member responded with inexplicable rudeness, asking intrusive questions before dismissively agreeing to help. After waiting 40 minutes, no blanket arrived. I returned twice more, enduring another 15-minute wait and a final 5-minute standoff, only to receive two blankets over an hour later. The entire night was unbearable. The icy room, filthy bathroom (which made showering unthinkable), and lack of basic comfort turned what should have been a restful stay into a sleepless nightmare. The hotel’s neglect is staggering—it feels abandoned, mismanaged, and staffed by indifferent personnel. Avoid this place at all costs. I’ve never encountered such appalling service or conditions in any accommodation, ever.
