The hotel is old, but clean.
Roooms are small but useful.
Location is great- only a few steps from Dusseldorf Central Station.
A transport card offered to the guests free of charge is an oportunity to use the public transport without buying tickets.
Breakfast is good enough.

Good hotel for the price, just a short walk from the station. The staff was quite friendly although the lady at the reception was not amused that I did not announce coming by bike. However she had a good spot for my bike. The breakfast was basic, but okay

The hotel Location is perfect, just 150m from main train station, very convenience if you arriving by train, S and U to Dusseldorf. 15 minutes’ walk to the center or 2 stations by U metro, to the exhibition center 10 minutes by U78. The room was very clean, breakfast was good too. Finally the hosts, when I arrived at 11 pm, was late, the night receptionist dose not speaks English, but he make sure I understood everything, also he handled me free ticket for all the transport in Dusseldorf for free ride during my stay. In the morning for breakfast, I met with Gschf. Mrs. Michaela Spichalsky, very warm welcoming lady, and helpful to find you what you looking for, in the afternoon when I return back, I met with Mr. Marius at the reception, such kind gentleman, we had few conversations during may stay, was real pleasure to talk with. They made me feel home, surly I will comeback, thank you

A very likeable and super helpful hosts and service staff. Beds were comfortable and bed linen was nice and clean no funny smell. The bathrooms were mostly clean and the bath accessories were nice. Surprisingly the place is so close to the train station it's so quiet in the night. I feel the shower tiles shall be cleaned a bit as I see the black mould starting to build.
But all in all I can suggest living there for a weary traveller l.

First of all, the location near the train station and being very close to the city centre makes the hotel ideal. I had a single-bed room, so of course it didn't look like a penthouse. Having said that, it was enough for a 2 nights stay considering that 80% of the time I have spent in the city. It's clean, cozy, quiet and the staff is friendly. Breakfast is REALLY GREAT, with many options to choose from. Overall, I strongly recommend this hotel!

Super Price-Performance Ratio. Building from the last century, with the appropriate charm :-) Very clean rooms, small but mighty. A very good Breakfast, which is included in the price and not to big hotel chains have to hide. Conclusion: this is A simple Hotel that has cleanliness, and Breakfast properly. Also very nice staff. Back for more!

Small but nice Hotel near the train station. Clean rooms, a little noisy but the mattress is good and the bathroom and shower great. The Breakfast was also very good even freshly prepared scrambled eggs. And for just under 50 euros was very good and very cheap!

Usually a bit sceptic when it comes to hotels located near main train stations, but this is decent place; has pretty good price/performance ratio.

I stayed here for 4 nights. Definitely a 5 star for value for money. The cons: it's only a block from the train station, so not the best neighborhood. As others have noted the interior is showing its age a bit. The pros: it's only a block from the train station - quick access to the U-bahn and S-bahn. Service is very friendly. Breakfast is good - the best part is eggs fried or scrambled fresh for you. Otherwise what you'd expect from a German breakfast buffet. The rooms are comfortable, and plenty of hot water for the shower. My total stay there was only a little more than 1 night at a premium hotel would be.
