TRIP INN Hotel Schumann in Dusseldorf

Very clean room, very friendly staff. Breakfast buffet was very diverse and everything was very fresh. Though the location is less thans optimal (20 minutes from the city centre bij public transport) there are plenty of restaurants in the area.

The breakfast is very rich with bread, fruit, sausage and various drinks. The front desk staff is very friendly! Convenient transportation, it is the terminal of U76, and it is very convenient to transfer to the main station! It takes 50 minutes to get to the Dusseldorf Exhibition Center by car, and there will be no traffic jams! There is a Chinese restaurant two stops before the terminal, which is delicious and large!

The hotel was reasonably good.

The location is great when it comes to public transport. It has a lot of stores and places to eat around. Really close to Henkel if you are visiting their campus.

The breakfast could use a little more variety but overall everything was fresh and tasty.

Most of the staff were really friendly. A guy on reception was really helpful with directions on what you can visit in the city and how the public transport works. There was also a really nice girl from the personnel with whom I had a really nice chat. The service was good.

The only drawback and the reason I'm not giving 5 stars is the dated interior. The rooms need some freshing up. The carpets, furniture and the bathrooms are stuck in the 2000s. But everything was super clean, to be honest I wasn't expecting it to be this tidy, but it was a pleasant surprise. The rooms got cleaned daily. The maintenance people are doing their job perfectly.

Hotel was fine as always. Unfortunately the room smelled a bit of smoke and the door between the rooms and the elevator slammed too loudly. Otherwise everything was fine.

Location and service very good. The room was also exceptionally clean!! However, the hotel is "aging", i.e. unmodern, old-fashioned and outdated. Furniture rustic and dark brown. Tiny shower in which you can hardly turn around. Toilet cramped. Tiny room with small mini-TV and choppy picture.
