We couldn't have asked for more. The location was good, near the Monastiraki Square Metro Station, within walking distance of loads of bars and restaurants and the Acropolis

Noisy at times from the streets but your in downtown Athens. From the states and first time in Athens. Pool is small, but the rooftop has a great bar with a view and great drinks/food

Second time here, and it is a great place to stay in Athens. Lovely staff and varied breakfast.

The room was spotless, a good size, with good facilities. The hotel is really well looked after and the staff were fantastic. The rooftop bar was alao a great place from which to enjoy the sunset with a drink in hand

What can I say but what an amazing hotel ! Breakfast buffet amazing ! Staff were wonderful. Very friendly with quick service provided. Pool cold 🥶 but when it gets too hot good to get into

Close to everything and in walkable distance

There are closer hotels to The Plaka / Acropolis / Syntagma etc. but we easily walked (a lot) and caught the metro everywhere else. In addition the trip down to Pireaus with large cases was not any issue either

The room was very comfortable, clean, and spacious, with lovely decoration. The overall atmosphere of the hotel is very pleasant and welcoming. The staff were professional, friendly, and always helpful

We had a wonderful stay and felt very comfortable and relaxed throughout. The location is also fantastic: just a few minutes’ walk from the city centre, yet without the hustle and crowds

Beautiful hotel in a great location for food and for touring the sites. Service in the hotel was amazing. The hot tub wasn't working during our stay, and given the weather the pool was too cold to go in

I booked this hotel for my birthday trip and all I can say was it was absolutely AMAZING! The service from the beginning of the trip to the end was great

The rooms are nice, well laid out and with the necessary amenities (nice to have an iron and ironing board available). One thing to note is that our room had a tub with a shower wand that is connected to the wall

We recently had a great stay at the King George. Everyone was very friendly, helpful, and accommodating. The front desk helped us find some excellent restaurants and even went so far as to get us reservations

On the recommendation of British Airways, my wife and I stayed at this hotel in our short visit to Athens, a very luxurious hotel, we were upgraded to a junior suite, the staff were courteous and efficient, the restaurant for the breakfast is on 7th floor, and the view of the Acropolis, is breath taking

Excellent hotel with very helpful staff, well appointed rooms. Well equipped gym and a Michelin star restaurant. We were upgraded to a suite with balcony which looked out into the main square

Though we were in the busy area, the pario doors insulate against the traffic noise and it was quiet inside

Fresh squeezed juice, excellent coffee, and the best place to watch the sunrise in Athens - it comes up right beside the Acropolis (see one of the photos from their website - it's just like that)

We stayed one night at the Margi to be close to the airport for a flight to Santorini. The pool area is excellent, the dining on site was really nice with outstanding wait staff and gourmet meals

All boxes get ticked from 5 star amenities to incredible service, attention to detail, turn down service, glass bottle spring water, perfect breakfast with a huge selection and even a la carte

My favourite hotel in Athens, by far. I love everything about this hotel from staff friendliness, courtesy, professionalism to the incredible breakfast and excellent restaurants. The spa, sauna and gym are perfect

One of my favourite hotels ever! Nice boutique hotel with amazing amenities in an ideal location. The pool area is what you see when you arrive. The rooms are well kept and nicely stocked with comfort food and drink

The spa is included and is a quiet sanctuary not to be missed. Located in the lovely Athenian suburb of Voulemani, beaches are just a short walk away as is the spectacular marina

It is a great place to stay in it’s own right but for us it provided a nice stopping off point after a long airline flight prior to further travels starting at the cruise ship port

The onlydownside os small elevator, but not a big issue. Oh the best part was window in the toilet. I dont know whether all rooms have window in the toilet, but at least we had one

The location is very convenient, right in the city center, with many restaurants and bars across the street. The overall environment is great, and the value is excellent. The Greek yogurt for breakfast is delicious

A good choice to stay close to the downtown Athens. The rooms are good, not that outdated. The breakfast is good, however, a choice of fresh fruits is not there

And the quality of coffee could be better given that Greece is the land of Capuccino Freddo :-)

The hotel is for sure not a 4 star. The room heating was closed and could not be turned on - they responded that the outside temperatures were still variabile and they could not open heating yet

The breakfast was mediocre and once again, a really bad impression was Made because of the coffee - no coffee machine was available, the waiters poured you one cup of dilluted thermos coffee

This is our 5th stay in this hotel and i ended up wondering if i come to Athens to stay in Elia Ermou or i stay in Elia Ermou to visit Athens… this time we stayed there from the 3rd till the 8th of january right after new years eve

All the staff is amazing they really go the extra mile to make u enjoy ur stay from the valet parking men to the receptionist, the cleaning ladies, the restaurant waiters … i wish i knew all their names so i can thank them all for making us feel at home each time we visit Athens

The location is perfect just on Ermou street that is one of the main touristic area in Athens for shopping and restaurant and night life, they have a private parking (which is v rare in Athens and v convenient too)

Their staff is highly professional v friendly and extremely helpful. When we faced a small issue with our room, Ioanna took care of us instantly and made the impossible to make our stay as comfortable as possible

Stayed here for a night and will definitely be coming back! So worth the money to get a room with a view of the Acropolis. My husband and I sat on our balcony at night and drank wine and looked at the scenery

The location is great to be able to walk to everything you want to see and do. Our room was clean and comfortable. The rooftop dining experience was incredible with an amazing sunset and acropolis view

Everyone was so accommodating, they even found my phone and let us know immediately. We always had a car/ taxi ready when we needed it. The communication was fantastic through the concierge pre-arrival

Had a lovely stay at Coco Mat BC. Location was very good everything was walking distance. Overall I’m happy with the facilities. Enjoyed the breakfast where you could order from the menu and comes fresh and piping hot

Not to forget the fresh orange juice. The staff were really accommodating

The hotel is right next to the Acropolis Museum, which is incredibly convenient. It's a super easy walk to the Acropolis and the surrounding areas

You absolutely *must* book a room with an Acropolis view; the scenery is absolutely stunning. The hotel lobby and interior are also very nice. No complaints, other than the room being a bit too small

Perfectly located and close to everything if you want to easily be able to walk to the acropolis etc. The staff were super great and the fit-out is like all design hotels, unique and inspiring

Compared with the hotels of the same price I stayed in before, the unsatisfactory points are: first, the breakfast is on the 0th floor instead of the top floor, and the content is relatively not rich; second, the hotel is relatively small, and the balcony is too small

The hotel service is professional, the general manager sent us an email to inquire about the check-in situation and solicit opinions. I made suggestions for breakfast and it was improved the next day

Great hotel! We really enjoyed our time here. Our room was large and the balcony was also a good size - it included 2 chairs and a table

Ii would recommend putting a normal hairdryer in every room instead of the old wall-hairdryer that's in the bathroom, it is inconvenient to use (gets very hot) and it is very slow

However, the rooms have pretty old furniture, almost zero electricity plugs in the room (and the one next to my bed stopped working the second day)

The breakfast is generous and varied, the rooms are spacious and warm—an important detail, especially when traveling near Christmas. The hotel staff is extremely kind and helpful, making the stay even more pleasant

A big plus for those arriving by car is the underground parking, which adds real comfort and peace of mind

And one remark about the price: I had tried to book through a well-known platform and the price (supposedly a special offer) I received turned out to be at least 20 euros more expensive! Fortunately for us, as it wasn't certain whether we would stay overnight in Piraeus, I preferred not to make an online reservation, and I think I probably never will again!

Theoxenia Palace Piraeus is a great choice for a successful city trip. The location is very convenient, close to everything you might need

The bathroom was quite good, clean, and provided everything needed for hassle-free and enjoyable use (three types of shampoo for hair and body, lotion, bathroom slippers, clean and relatively new towels, cotton swabs, etc

And all of this at a price that, when it was told to me at reception, I thought it must be a numerical mistake and I had to have them confirm it to be convinced I had heard the requested amount correctly

We had an issue ordering food and the amazing staff member Alexandra helped us out! The staff member Chara was also very sweet to us

The scenery is superb, and the location is very convenient, just steps from the pier. Supermarkets and restaurants are downstairs, and public transportation is very convenient

The rooms are good, though not the most soundproof you will ever have. Great breakfast in a newly renovated room. The staff goes out of their way to make you feel welcome and are the biggest asset of the hotel by far

I found this to be a perfect choice for a few days before boarding a cruise. The hotel has a shuttle to the busier parts of Athens and to a private beach. The rooms were clean and well maintained

I understand the hotel may have offered compensation afterward, but I want to emphasize that travelers choosing to stay at five-star hotels don't prioritize "receiving some compensation," but rather expect a quiet, comfortable, and consistent quality of accommodation from the outset, along with professional and respectful service

Second, there's the air conditioning/temperature control issue: On my first day, the room was extremely hot, which I completely couldn't understand why the air conditioning was set so stuffy in Greece's approximately 11°C weather; however, the air conditioning was later locked at 20°C, becoming very cold and difficult to adjust

For travelers, basic rest quality is the bare minimum a hotel should guarantee, but this hotel forced guests to endure prolonged noise disturbances in their rooms, directly undermining the core value of the accommodation

However, on the day of the extension, my room key card wouldn't work, forcing me to return to the counter to update/replace it. This is a very basic procedure that should have been completed beforehand

I've traveled to approximately 40 countries and stayed in various five-star hotels worldwide, but the Academias Hotel, Autograph Collection is one of the worst five-star experiences I've ever had

The hotel is absolutely hailed for its impeccable cleanliness and great staff service and in addition, wide variety of breakfast. A little far from the subway, about 15 mins’ away but very satisfied overall with the stay

Nice size to be good but not overcrowded. Great rooftop bar and restaurant with a lovely view. My band (The Jive Aces) stayed there for a week over new years 2025/26 while we played up the road the Half Note Jazz Club

It was comfortable and met all my needs perfectly. The amenities were well-maintained, and the room offered a cozy retreat after a day of exploring the city. On my second visit, I opted for the Executive Suite

We were never planning on coming back, but this hotel made the decision to come back in the future easy. Easy walking distance to local restaurants, bars, breweries, cafe's, and the Parthenon

Stayed here 2X, before and after our Greece cruise. Front desk staff and bellhops were amazing. Very clean lobby and elevators and hallways. Rooms were absolutely amazing

Also, posting pictures of the room, two things I didn’t get a pic of were the LED lights on the ground outside the room that will allow you to say you don’t want to be disturbed, the maid is in the room, or you need service and one feature I found kind of cool was a tablet in the room that allowed you to read more on the hotel or request towels or an ironing board to the room

The room was spacious, but the rest rooms has some drainage smell. I am sensitive to the bed sheet and got me skin trouble. So i had to wear long pants while sleeping. Usually, i get that rash when sheets are not clean

The room is quite spacious and has a balcony. The room is cleaned every day and bottled water is replenished every day. The service attitude of the front desk is great, and some snacks can be made for breakfast

We stayed at this hotel several times, the staff is friendly and polite! We could only improve the quality of the coffee at breakfast, it tastes like powder, but that's just our thing

Great hotel, close to the beach, you can take a tram and/or bus to go to Athens. The street is not active and you can sleep longer

Our taxi did drop us off a street over which was fine, just a short walk with our suitcases & up the entrance stairs. The entrance to the hotel is in an alleyway (which is why the taxi could not get closer)

I wish I had taken pictures of the hotel to recommend it to other people. The location is perfect - with numerous brunch places and attractions nearby and the subway being less than 10 minutes away

There are a lot of restaurants and bars nearby, which made me choose the hotel. I had the room with two beds, and it was enough for two people with two small luggages open. The bathroom was also very clean and wide

The view from its balcony makes you feel that you're exactly in Athens as it looks towards its streets. The receptionist was helpful and provided a luggage storage area for us on our check-out day

The hotel is easily accessible from the metro and airport and very close to many of the sights to see in Athens. The room was good but a bit noisy at night due to the road next to it
