Where to stay with pets in Agios Nikolaos

Beautiful rooms with stunning sea views, excellent food, and private beach access. The dining was a highlight in itself. Every meal was a pleasure — carefully crafted, deeply flavourful, and served with genuine care

The same can be said for every corner of the resort. Whether we were at the reception or the restaurant, relaxing at the bar, or indulging in a treatment at the Kepos SPA, the level of service never wavered

We chose to sit on the beach for the first few days, plenty of loungers available and nice to have the beach restaurant very close

It was consistently exceptional, always personal, and delivered with a grace that is truly difficult to find

Just perfect! To move within the hotel all is well organised, the restaurants are amazing and we had a couple of special dinner the occurred during our stayed! Really upscale! The kids also loved it and were very well taken care

Incredible views Fabulous service Giannis and his team were amazing,nothing was too much trouble and always served with a beautiful smile

Blue Marine has a very peaceful location, so if you're looking for a relaxing experience and amazing views, this might be a great choice

The location is charming, but the hotel somehow lacked athmosphere. With some minor improvements, this could be an amazing resort

Excellent as usual 13th time at his hotel we love it, food excellent and varied choices at each meat, staff very friendly and always helpful . This year he man pool is heated which is a plus

We were 8 female friends from school on our annual long weekend away in early October. We had 4 rooms side by side on the 4th floor with a beautiful view of the sea

The air condition of the restaurant could have been more effective (or the glass doors could be closed) in the July heat, because on some nights it was really hot to have any kind of dinner but also the waiters had their shirts visibly sweaty already in the morning

We struggled a bit with the toilet door lock which seemed to be old and the door handle wasn't very stable. This was our first time with all inclusive and we absolutely loved the food in the buffet restaurant

The reception is very good informed about the sight seeings and more activities. Actually the tips they proposed were priceless. to many unknown beautiful places in close distance that we will return to visit

We stumbled across this amazing place sort of by accident, having pre-booked other accommodation in the area but didn’t like it when we got there. So we had to find a suitable alternative very quickly

Also the hotel location and it’s restaurant right away to the beach, with it’s support at the beach with various snacks and beverages

Location was convenient to reach the close town Agios Nikolaos, or to do hiking other way around the sea

Many thanks to the hotel Faedra Beach Resort for our summer family vacation in July 2025. I want to note the very friendly and hospitable staff. All issues were resolved quickly and without problems

I ‘ve stayedin Faedra Beach hotel this year in august. I liked the hotel staff, always helpful, friendly and welcome. I felt I was the local amongs them. The room was clean, and being cleaned every morning

21 Room9 Was absolutly a perfect Holiday. The Hotel is perfect and every day you feel like home. They clean the room's perfect. But the best was the 3 lady's and 1 guy at the pool. Georgia, Sofia, Despoina, Manolis

Amazing food (actually too good). Only downer is a 100 euro "climate crisis tax" slapped on your bill at the end. If you're going to obligatorily add 100 euros to a bill. You should say this at the time of booking

When do we draw the line on this? A "water crisis tax" of 20,000 euros slapped on a check out bill? I realise it's not all their fault

Get a Bungalow on the north side of the hotel. You'll have your own sunbeds right on the water. The area offers a few things to do but you'll never want to leave the hotel

We finished 4 appetizers, 2 meats and a bottle of wine in an hour. We didn’t get to linger and enjoy the music. Because the first 2 experiences, we cancelled our 3rd dinner reservation

The hotel is in a perfect location, within walking distance to the city of Agios Nikolaos and a number of beaches. It is situated in a quiet location but also very central

Well located not far from the marina and the city center, this hotel seems to be surviving. The rooms are clean and the bedding is comfortable. In the bathroom, a tiny bathtub doubles as a shower

There is a municipal parking 1 min from the hotel with reasonable prices. I really enjoyed the buffet breakfast with very big variety and good quality of products

The staff doesn't seem familiar with the restaurant's rules. We had drinks included (1/4 wine and 1/2 water per person), and there were no problems with the water, but we had to ask for the promised 1/4 wine

To secure your valuables in the room, you have to pay an additional €3. 50 per day and request a (huge) key from reception. A strange practice for a four-star hotel these days

Restaurant is very expensive for what it is in the evenings and even the staff are clearly embarrassed about that. OTOH they did lay on a free hot meal for late arrivals which wasn't expected but was greatly appreciated

Nice hotel outside the centre of town but close enough to still get in easily and with some local shops and tavernas close by as well

At night only the promenade area is lit so use a torch for the last bit. However a taxi back is only 8 euros. The bus to Elounda stops just around the corner from the hotel and only costs 2 euros

The beach near hotel is extremely quiet but does have free sunbeds, we preferred to walk to Amoudi beach 10 mins away which has a few tavernas nearby but sunbed hire is quite pricey

Staff were always polite and helpful. Room was clean, well furnished and had a lovely sea view

Nice atmosphere and views, spacious and quiet, 14+ affects Agios Nikolaos is a watch not to see the city

I’m not your normal busybody who leaves reviews for anything I am however exceptionally fussy and this by far is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in having visited many hundreds of hotels over the last 40 years the room the staff the food everything was superb and the location is fantastic

Lovely hotel, super location on the beach short walk to centre (lake) 5 mins only, supermaket outside, reasonable spa, lovely room nice decor, amazing amaneiteis - Cool Clarins bottle red color, breakfast restaruarant on 5/F overlooking the sea, infinty pool all great

We enjoyed our short stay at the property. Rooms are beautiful and stunning views. Breakfast was delicious and the location is great.

Stayed at NIKO for a long weekend in mid October - we had the BEST weather (sunny and warm but not too hot) and really enjoyed our time there. The views are just stunning (definitely recommend sea-view rooms)

This is a very nice hotel near the marina, a bit away from the chaos of the center of A. but still close to restaurants, the beach, etc. The perfect location in my opinion. The hotel staff were very welcoming and helpful

The whole room was spotless, cleaned daily with fresh towels. The staff we met were all very griendly and helpful. Location was fab, a minute from the beach and restaurants

Our travels to Crete were a bit rough and it was so refreshing to have a nice shower and meal once we got there The staff was INCREDIBLE and treated us so well. Definitely worth visiting again!!!

It was a great hotel, 5 minutes from a splendid beach. The staff was kind, non invasive, friendly and helpful. They have a swimming pool, some cute small dogs and very nice rooms with balconies

We stayed here in May 1986, it was owned by a family of Dad, Mum and 2 Sons aged about 8 & 12, they treated us like family we had a great time, We hope they are still there 😃❤️😃

Hotel is in a very nice location, nearby a beautiful beach. Unfortunately, the rooms are too small, feel crowded with 3 people in them

Fabulous breakfast - eggs cooked to order - I have tried to replicate them at home to no avail- probably because you need the place and the people to go with the breakfast

The room was great the position right next to the beach but especially the staff ! The people that work there are very nice welcoming and always ready to help! Mihalis is a great person! We stayed one week and we will definetely come back

Lovely Jeanette is still doing lovely food at lunchtime and keeps the conversation flowing around the bar of an evening. Good selection of tastey food on offer at breakfast served with a smile by staff

Lato hotel is an intimate place where you will receive a warm welcome. We were treated like friends, from the moment we arrived. Our room was well appointed, perhaps recently decorated

Delicious homemade cakes and biscuits too! As for the pool, previous reviews had us slightly worried about whether there could be lack of shade - because we’re pale English

But there’s enough for everyone, especially as you get to know the other guests and you chat together and can move up/around

To there's also fresh bread and rolls to choose from and a vast array of dried fruit and even cakes and doughnuts. This is an adult only hotel so if you are looking for a romantic break this place is definitely for you

There's a lovely bar area by reception that leads straight out to the pool so you can grab a drink sit back and relax on one of the comfortable sun loungers

I am going to miss this place so much, the staff is really friendly and the room we booked was literally the best. You got the sunrise every morning, it's magical. Would definitely go back there

A very nice hotel situated overlooking the bay in agios Nikolaos. Rooms are light and airy with rooms cleaned on a daily basis with fresh towels

The staff is super pleasant and available. Evening meals change every day (be careful, it's very generous for small and medium appetites 😉). Super nice swimming pool with a beautiful view of the sea, beach nearby

As a nice bonus, there is a cute cat that comes to join at breakfast time every other day

I found this very charming hotel by coincidence. Victoria Hotel is located a pleasant walk along the promenade from the center of Agios Nikolaos. A family driven place with such kindness

Nice location too, short walk to town and the beach but not right in the centre so it's still nice and peaceful. We will visit again if we return to Crete for sure

Just realized I never rated this! We stayed here for a week in June 2023 and I still think back to this as one of my most favorite stays ever! Stavros was more than outgoing to help us with navigating around the environment, and everything else, including bringing our laundry to a cleaner! Only things we didn't like were: 1

The loud road directly in cront of the balcony (though that also allowed us to watch the ocean every time we went outside) 2. The mosquitoes inside because there wasn't a mosquito net

The location of El Greco Hotel is great. It's worth taking a room with a sea view, otherwise you end up seeing a hole-like courtyard, which, however, has plants

Top of my review must be Angela and George who work on reception, they are both really friendly and helpful, they advised us where to eat, the best beaches, places of interest to visit, Angela even found me a good shop to purchase a lovely handbag, nothing was too much trouble! A room with a sea view is a must, the view from our balcony was beautiful

On Angela's advice we took the Little train tour into the mountains to the ancient village of Krista which was very interesting and worthwhile trip. There are plenty of different trips available

Breakfast wasn't included in my reservation but the hotel is very centrally located close to the lake, with plenty of restaurants and bars, so there were plenty of places to eat

I stayed 4 nights and it was my first time in Crete, enjoying the sights and also visiting family who had recently moved to the area. The room was very spacious with a large balcony and a side view of the lake

There is also a nice lounge and terrace overlooking the lake and the seafront is 2mns away. Price was very reasonable for late May. Will definitely book again for my next visit!

I stayed here for 3 nights in a studio with a city view. Room was nice, clean and spacious with a kitchenette and ensuite bathroom. The hotel is literally next to the lake

I also had a balcony overlooking one of the main streets and I could see the lake from my balcony

I had a wonderful time staying at this hotel, the room had a beautiful view looking out onto the lake, the bed was extremely comfortable and the staff were friendly and helpful

I also want specifically to mention and thank the personnel. Despite we were in the end of the season, they were still so enthusiastic, so helpful, so polite and so simply nice after all these months of hard work

There is a pool bar, a Gelateria, a mini market, a tavern, a great kids' club and much more – the full range of amenities, but without that typical club atmosphere that we don't particularly like

They asked how I was feeling and I am truly grateful to everyone from the bottom of my heart for helping me so well. Regardless of this, the resort is a dream for young and old alike

In the meantime, my children were given something to eat, and even I was given a packed lunch to take with me in the ambulance. All the staff present helped and were very friendly

It was my first time visiting Greece and I was definitely not disappointed. The environment is large and maintained. The food did not disappoint either. There are several pools, not one or two bars

Mattress on beds are Hard, credit due they did replace the mattress after I asked for a mattress topper. Again hard mattress a shame, pillows hard too. Lovely tidy resort meals were great, signed up to mitsis club

Best hotel in Agios Nikolaos!! The location is ideal! In the center of the town. 2 minutes walk from the coffee shops, bakeries and the market. 3 minuted walk from the beach

We loved the warm welcome from the owners and effort they make to personally provide local information. Our apartment was of a good size, spotlessly clean and with a great sea view from the balcony

Dimitris is the greatest host: very friendly, available and he knows the best areas/activities on the island. Keep in mind that the apartments are quite isolated and there are not many places you can reach without a car

Little suggestions to improve a very pleasant stay: provide some little essentials in the house (salt, oil, a couple of better knives, a broom and a couple of cleaning clothes. ) especially for the first day of arrival

Clean, spacious, modern, convenient and the proprietor was super helpful and welcoming. There is plenty of space to soak up sun and the blinds in the rooms do a great job at keeping out the morning sun beams
