We arrived around midnight, reception was closed but easy to get in. Breakfast was continetal, fantastic. The room was amazing, especially the tub on the patio. The bed was very comfortable, plenty of pillows. The whole room was spotless, cleaned daily with fresh towels. The staff we met were all very griendly and helpful. Stayed here while in town for a wedding. Absolutely perfect. Quiet area with cute, clean rooms. Breakfast every morning was amazing. We were here at the end of September and it was just perfect. The room was great the position right next to the beach but especially the staff ! Hotel is in a very nice location, nearby a beautiful beach. Unfortunately, the rooms are too small, feel crowded with 3 people in them. It's obvious that rooms were created for two people and they put an extra bed in them to make them triples. Also the shower is too small to be left open without a curtain. Last about the rooms, the balconies are too small, and had water sprayed on us from the AC units...

A very nice hotel situated overlooking the bay in agios Nikolaos. Rooms are light and airy with rooms cleaned on a daily basis with fresh towels. The staff are amazing and so friendly and the breakfast has a huge choice from fresh meat and cheese to yoghurt cereal and sausages and bacon. The location of El Greco Hotel is great. It's worth taking a room with a sea view, otherwise you end up seeing a hole-like courtyard, which, however, has plants. Positive : Overall a good place to stay, clean and quiet. Furniture and decor a bit tired. Only one pillow per person. Bed mattress also far too hard. Good AC, balcony also quite spacious. Negative: Only 2 glasses, 2 mugs and 2 tea spoon. Zero possibility when I requested a plate to enjoy a fruit, no ice, no shower facilities for evening check out, no AC at the reception area. Our stay at this hotel was fantastic, the property was spotless, architecture gorgeous, environment serene. It felt like a spa stay; the spa itself was nice though maybe not worth it for just the drop-in pools (the ‘sauna’ especially). Excellent splurge location for a couple. We stayed for 3 nights at the end of our trip and loved it. The service is great, breakfast is excellent with amazing views. A Cretan Delight Minos Palace was simply excellent from the moment we checked-in thru to our departure. The rooms are immaculate, the restaurant areas amongst the best we’ve been to, the quality of cooking at the restaurants is world class. It’s an absolute gem.
